brake/wheel conversion?

does anyone know if tt wheels and brake setups can fit on na cars without modification? for example: removing the rotors, calipers etc. off an na and replacing it with a tt brembo rotor/caliper setup, and then a 17' stock tt wheel over that ... i am hoping to do so someday just cause the 17 wheels can be found so cheaply and plentifully around here.

:) Hello fellow n/a owner. Although I haven't had the opportunity to try it, I'm sure it is doable. Keep bugging other members to get the skinny on the mod. :D I've perused the mkiv list and this one many times to get tech info!:bthumb:

Yep, the stock TT brakes and wheels will bolt right up. But the Brembo setup doesn't fit under the stock TT wheels.

aha ... just as i suspected. thanks guys. i was hoping to get the tt wheels to fit the larger brake setup. i think that should be easy enough to do ... and cheap too since everybody seems to be getting ri of stock tt wheels for cheap.
