I put on the shims over the weekend and used all the lube you gave me. It worked fine till today and on the very slow brakinging situations (like dropping my son off at school) it started to squeel again???? My pads and rotors are new all the way around. Do I need to take them off and put more goo on the shims?? or what?

You can use permatex antiseize compound in a spray can. Spray the flat surface of the shims on both sides, all peices and re-assemble. part# 81464 permatex

Do I need to try and remove the stuff I already put on them? Also my rear shim package came with 2 sets of shimms..I only installed one set. I dont think I would have enough room to install both.
Can I get this at the local auto store on the way home?

When you compress the rear piston there is more than enough room for all of the shims. A major parts store should have it. Otherwise get the same stuff in a bottle with a brush.

Should I use the 2nd set as well then? Also what is the easiest way to compress the pistons at home with limited tools? I used a screwdriver last time and it worked OK but I am scared it will slip and tear something.

A "c" clamp or large slip joint pliers will work. All the shims must be used.

I didnt use any of the permatic antisieze stuff..I didnt even find any of it...I ended up getting more of the anti squeel lube (this time it was blue) and used all of that and also installed the other set of rear shims... so far so good.

Lol! I've got to agree. I've only ordered pad-shims, 6 coilpacks, an igniter(ordered it yeseterday) and a Euro-scoop ...but all of them got to me quicker than I expected. Great service and they always have the oddest shit in stock!
