I want to know if anyone knows the size of hte o-ring used for the injector tip that is placed inside of the fuel rail. Does anyone know? Has anyone used a different o ring instead of the HKS part? I have found an o ring that seems to fit, its from an injector kit that is sold by Napa. The o ring outside diameter is 11.5 mm, and the inside diameter is 8mm, and the width is 2mm it seems to be a pretty good fit into the rail but I want to be sure not to have a leak, I just don't want to pay a ridiculous 10.00 per o ring... The Napa kit number is 2-12069, it also contains the rubber insulator and grommet for the base of the injector. The price was right at $6.50. I am using the Greddy/Denso 720 cc injector, the o ring groove on the injector is 8mm in diameter by 2.6mm wide. The HKS rail has an opening for te injector that is 11mm in diameter.
Thanks for any help.
