well i just redid my wire harness on my MK2 because I was having some problems with the quickie job I did before (using solder now instead of just electrical tape) but something is wrong

idle is very high (tach isnt wired up yet so I dont know exactly how high)
And it sounds like it is missing when i rev it
If I rev it up and hold it at a certain RPM i can hear a miss

Also my fuel pump relay is buzzing pretty loudly...

Everything is wired up in the car except M1
(water temp sender, check engine light, tachometer, oil presure sender, and speed sensor)

everything else is wired up fine

Gunna wire up the check engine light tonight when i get home from work and check for codes, but before that, anyone have any ideas? Would not having M1 wired up cause this problem?

Gotta fix your oil leaks before it runs anywhere!:p
check and see if each injector is firing (stick a metal tube on it, and put your ear on the tube. if each one is firing, pull a spark plug boot off, one at a time (put each one back before taking off the next one) the sound of the engine should change with each boot pulled off, if it doesnt, thats your problem...
