jarred,
Just wondering If a map ecu will work on a 300zx TT with jim wolf ecu upgrade??
the reason in am asking is because i went to the map ecu web site and they had no info on this...... and the 300zx has twin air flows. as of this moment the car is making 480 rwhp with 550 injectors, stillen twin coolers, afc, twin hks turbos and the Jim Wolf ecu. I feel that it is at the limit of the air flows. and this will be awesome if it will work. Dont want to go to full stand alone.

Thanks

Smooth.

Here are their directions.

I thought that JWT could reprogram the stock ecu for your mods.

Thanks for the link,
Yes JWT programed the ECU for the mods but they told me that they have never made that much hp with what i have listed above (i also have an afc cause i dont think they have it maped for 27psi) and i feel that i am at the limit of my air flow meters.

Smooth, we have been wanting to try the MAP ECU on a 300ZX with the twin MAF, but I am not sure how to make it work with the dual channel ECU. I know it will work, since its still a hotwire sensor setup, but just not sure if we need to split the signal and run half the total map, or run twin MAP ECU's :-). But, to answer your question, it will work and allow you to remove the MAF meters and tune for bigger injectors.

Thanks Jarred,
actually that is want i was trying to figure out "the need for one or two MAP ECU's??" or has any one run a vpc on a 300ztt just wondering if it would use one or two vpc's?? i guess i will wait until some one else does it first.

I think you can use one MAP ECU and just run half the map and split the signal to two sensor inputs personally. Someone just needs to give it a try. If you know anyone, have them give me a call. Thanks

VPC works fine. no need to run two of them, never heard of that.... :shrugs:

I would think the easiest thing to do would be to get a chip from JWT for a single intake and 555cc injectors and than just run the map ecu piggybacked with that. Make sense? LOL

Thanks
