Do you know any other mk4 owners in your area? If so convince them to post for sale ads, but make the price outrageous like $100,000 or so. ;)

Obvioulsy no one would even consider buying the car for that price but when the insurance company sees the ads, problem solved. $100000 in the bank. :bigthumb:

Or not.

Local Toronto MKIV's I've seen, usually go for about $30,000 and that usually an TT auto. One time I even saw one in the autotrader and the guy wanted $31K USD.

Good luck with that.

Your low km, 6spd Supra is EASILY worth $40K, if not more.

Taris,

I would recommend a call to Golden Horseshoe appraisals for that. I have had my MKIV for sale most of this year, but due to the incredibly soft used car market, no-one is parting with the sub $40G price tag. The hardtop TT I sold in August fetched over $38G, bone stock with slightly higher mileage and it wasn't all original as yours mostly was. I'm about to relist my IJM 94 TT, so we'll see if that helps any. It's the only other one for sale now, but I'm expecting my RSP 94 TT to arrive from the paint booth early next week, so I may post that one as well before I reassemble it. Have them call me if they need further asistance. At the risk of sounding pompous, no-one else in Canada has had the experience with buying/selling MKIV's that could determine value better than yours truly, so hopefully that will get some mileage for you!
Have you picked a coulour for your next Supra? I have 2 more going in for paint shortly....

thanks phil!!!

and no i can't even seriously say anything yet until insurance comes through, because if i get no money, then i will have no money for the supra

cross your fingers for me!!
