i searched and found shops from 2003, some were closed or moved, so does anyone know of places and any contact information like phone numbers? especially those that know mkiv's, have very good prices, and high quality work?

at the same time, they could put in new spark plugs, valve seals, and piston rings, right? or would those be considered head/engine rebuilding?

also, i shouldn't try to do this myself if i have no prior experience, right? :p i read that it's a weekend job but perhaps more for people who have done this before.

i'm looking in sacramento, bay area, central california, anywhere around here

Hit up Trung Motorsports in Coalinga. They will swap out your headgasket for $400.

blacktrax in milpitas - heard nothing but good stuff about them... my mkiv NAT is in there right now getting a new engine in, headgasket, dyno, etc. they can do TT swaps too into NAs so id have to say they are quite experienced with supras. long wait list though and id have to say quite a pretty penny. ill let you know how my car turns out. search blacktrax on yahoo and you'll get thier website.
