White MKIV w/FMIC on 210 Freeway today?

Kinda geeky looking white guy driving it? Sounded like a 6-speed, didn't notice if it was targa or not. Anyway, anyone know this character? Perhaps you're on the board (hopefully)?

Anyway, I was sitting on the phone minding my business talking to my boss when I checked my rear view and made a lane change. Noticed him behind me and apparently lane change = desire to race :rolleyes: Next thing I know he's passing some guy on the right behind me, swerves into the spot I was evacuating and then totally "GM passed" me, cut me off and then crossed the double-yellow into the carpool lane and sped off. Mind you the freeway is packed with an accident over to the right with CHP stopped. Better still is it looked like HE was on the phone as well since as he passed me he gave me this goofy ass look. Damn man, learn to pick your spots!

So if you do happen to be on here (not like there are many 6-speed TTs around) then I have this to say to you: Sell your car to someone who wont put it into a guard rail. Jackasses like you are what give a phenomenal car a bad name. And if you want to run what you have, our SoCal Z group is at nearly every track event every season. I'd be more than happy to buy you a ticket to the next event. In fact, if my work schedule permits, I'll probably be in Vegas for the next big meet.

Ryan is Seedyrom I believe. Hes a TT 300ZX owner who formerly owned an NA 300ZX (showcar). I believe he runs the 350Zforum (or is involved with it), and drag races his 300ZX TT. He runs with Greg, Zo, Mark and Seb from Specialty Z's group of people in SoCal.

I was talking about Ryan with a White supra... Just like what the first poster said. He also has dragged his car and he has put up some very good times. I don't know what ryan you are talking about.

Actually, Al was responding that "whoever did this to Ryan (me)" would be getting a $100 paid ticket since I was with Al and his Supra at that last private drag day. He did not mean to imply Ryan with the white Supra.

I just love how you got all defensive though about him being able to wipe our little 300ZX club out. I wasn't calling him out as if I could wipe the floor with him or anything...I'd just rather take it to the track. But if said "Ryan" would like to come I'm sure we can offer up some competition for him as well. Right Al? ;)

Hey Al! Great seeing you at Fontana the other week. I'll be at the Famoso private drag day on Dec 4th as well. Not sure if you'll be there or not but I'll be at the next Fontana day Alan puts together :)

yep, unfortunately, that was me.

not one of my better racing weekends. I had some major issues launching the car up there on drag radials. IDRC really needs to change that rule for 6 cylinder cars. Also the lack of track prep and wind and dust made it a pretty scary ride on the top end. I didnt get one clean pass all weekend. :(

I saw you there... I was the one with the blue and silver TRD widebodies. I saw you checking out the car from afar but as i got there you ended up disappearing. You ran pretty good I thought I remember I talked to you last year about your times. What happened to the top of the Car? Hood fly up?
