Just a thought, I was talking with a friend that has a MK4 this evening about the wall calendar we did for the Z32 community and he suggested I should put the idea before y'all. Its pretty late in the year to start a project of this sort, but if y'all were able to get pics in pretty quick it could be ready in time for the holidays. Anyways, just an idea let me know what y'all think.

Thats up to y'all. Just looking to do something for the Supra community since they have been so good to our magazine in its first year. If y'all want a multi generational calendar thats terrific, or if you want a generation specific thats great to. Just offering the service up.

anyway those calendars are nice my friend was in the z31 calander last year that was made for the zboards on z31.com Ive seen some nice z32s here in Tampa at the sonic meets and a few other places. It'd be nice if we had a hybrid mkiv/mkiii calendar.

Go ahead and submit your pics and we will see what we can get off the ground in time for the holidays. Lets aim to have this done by the end of next week; December 3rd.

Here are the basic guidelines:

1.) Submit only high resolution jpg's. 2MP+ is preferred.
2.) Submit approximately 4 pictures
3.) Include a full spec sheet, including your name as you would want it to appear

Please submit your pictures to the following email address: uploads@downshiftonline.com

The way the Z Calendar worked out was as follows.

Those featured on the front or back covers will be able to purchase up to two calendars for $14 each. Those people featured on a month will be able to purchase up to two calendars for $12 each. Any additional calendars will be the standard rate of $16.00

Shipping breaks down as follows:
1-2 Calendars $4.00
3-4 Calendars $6.00
5-6 Calendars $8.00
etc...

Ok, I think that covers it. I'm looking forward to receiving ya'lls pics.

I agree. and i have an MKIV ;) anyway, i dunno if you remember me or not, but i was the guy that was following around the meet you set up last year in the BLUE wrx ;) as in my sig. Anyhow, just to vouche, you have been one of the coolest supra owners ive met, period. So at least if this kid or whatever comes on back in here talking shit about everything that isnt his, he can see that some of the people aren't snotty pricks, and are down to earth cool guys that gave me a ton of info after having just met me... thanks again man - part of the reason i got an MKIV was due to that day ;)

he actually has the supra in his sig...but he bought it from someone else already all modded out and everything..then wrecked it or something...i dont know..but the attitude is what pisses me off...

i know 8 outta 10 mkivs owners is cool...i am good friends with tons of mkiv owners....but its the ones like him that piss people off...

and back on topic here......i wouldnt mind if my car was in there...but i dont think any other mk3s would send in pics...and i doubt one mk3 in the calendar would look right...so bleh...

Supra is a Supra god damn guys. I don't care what you drive. If it weren't for the mk3, who knows what or if we'd have even had a mk4. I love mk4's, and I love my car as well. I've put a lot of hard work and time into my car for some rich dumbshit like you to come and talk shit. I think both should be able to go in the calendar, and if you have a problem with it, please come and say so. I'm really getting sick of this crap....I'll try to get some good pictures of my car for the calendar. Its pretty nice outside now, and I finally got some interior I'm putting in!

I believe MVP already has a calendar with supras from all around so I personally would prefer to keep it FL supra's.

Just of the top of my head:
The two South FL Black Beauties w/ 19" HRE's (Dan & Rob)
Ron w/ his Silver MKIV
Nick's Green Monster
Titan's 8sec car
Tom's widebody
Adam's Blue Devil
Matt's QS
Plus a number of badass sleepers. I think FL has some great clean looking cars to choose from.

Either way, I know i'm buying a couple calendars :D

HREsupra has a good list of some of the best florida supras.... and as for the mkiii thing..they're all ugly..J/K... I have definently seen some good looking ones cruising around florida, they should definently take up a couple months. I'd like to see all types in there....BTW... Jayson yours running yet?

Well, time is a ticking and I have received only a handfull of submissions for the calendar. Remember it takes at least 12 to compose just the months, much less anything else. If y'all want to get this together in time for the holidays send in your pictures asap.

If anyone is in or around central Florida and does not have pics they are satisfied with I would be happy to supply one of my magazine photographers to do a shoot with your car provided we can work it in with our schedule. *Edit* As this question has come up, I am offering this service free of charge for the calendar **

Going to try and have this available to everyone for the holidays. However, we are always looking for cars to cover in the magazine, so dont rule that out as well as next years calendar. I could always have a photographer shoot them in preperation for next years calendar. Shoot me a PM or email if y'all are interested.

Thanks Jon. Yes, we are still up and running continually refining the company and making things work better. We have branched out now doing graphic design, graphic reconstruction, all types of photography, model management, promotional posters, calendars and print brokering. Needless to say we've been very busy. Hard to find time to work on my z or my MR2. I start law school in 05' as well so even more to do.

BTW, your dad will be happy to know that there are over 13K copies of his car floating around the south east. We distributed 10K at NOPI and another 3K throughout Florida.
