I'm from PA, but I don't think those aftermarket exhausts are illegal, even in NJ. If you have your cats on and are running decent, you should pass.

Bone stock Supras have a hard time passing emissions. Good luck. :(

You have 2 choices. Either, pay someone to pass you. Or just get collectors insurance. If you have a daily beater, I would highly recommend it. It's like $500 a year for 3000 miles. Bad side is that you do have a limit on how much you can drive yet you have a set declared value on the car for literally nothing per year.

my car had no problems passing emissions at the DMV with tanabe racing medallion exhaust. just exhaust and 18's.

Depends on who you get it through. Some places it's 25. Some places it's 26. Some places don't require an age as long as you have 8 years driving experience.

I think you are worrying about nothing. Just go and get it done like it is a stock car. Odds are you will be fine. If not then you can look into other options.
