Hey, I installed your tranny a few months ago and called you when I ran into a snag. The TC wasn't seated properly the first time I installed it and I had to pull it out and do it again. Kean had asked me to check the tranny to make sure I hadn't damaged it (two little tabs inside tranny)) and everything looked fine to me.

I've been very busy since then so my car has just been sitting in a storage garage. The other day I went to check on it and there was a puddle of tranny fluid under the bellhousing. Is this an indication that something was damaged by the TC not being seated? Would this cause a leak or would it just stop the tranny from shifting properly. BTW, I would just start the car to see if it shifts but that may take some time to get accomplished. :D

The fluid may be from the torque converter when it was pulled out and put back in . Have you driven it any? Drive it around and see if there is still more fluid leaking.

Nope, amazingly the car still doesn't drive and I haven't had time to fix it. The car sat in my garage for a month or so after the install, was towed to a new garage where it sat for a few months and then I noticed the puddle. Do you think being towed nearly 300 miles would have gotten all the extra fluid from the converter to drip out? Should I just get the car to run, start it and hope for the best?
