no, this meet has nothing to do with the porsche auto-x, PCA doesn't hold meets at tobay anymore. So as of right now, only supra people know about this meet.

Good I'm not going to the big Tobay meet, it was stupid last year. I rather have a small supra meet the week before to kick off the summer/spring meets. Of course other cars are welcome, just don't spam this all over other boards, we wanna keep it relatively small.

Ill be at both meet's but then again the tobay meet the huge blew up to the point the car meet was pointless Please do not tell other car clubs about our supra meet or spam it anywhere as like we said we want to keep this somewhat of a small meet for many reason's . - ill be the one in the back with my 20lbs of boost ;P

Also you need to get a pemrit to have a autocross event. Ususaly the SCCA handles it for the porsche club of america. But it would be fun as hell if we did ;)

PCA doesnt want to do it there anymore after the last couple event's which we all know what happend. Also i dont think we are inviting any other car clubs besides maybe a few rx7 guy's We want to keep this meet as small as possible so i think thats it with inviting car clubs. you 3sny guys are welcome along with some of the rx7 guys who might come down but besides that anyone else asks you the meet is the week after ours ;)

so im guessing that the mini tobay meet on the 3rd is still on even though the real tobay meet is the 10th.... right?
Then on the 16th, EZ Concepts is having its anuall "grand opening". last year there were so many car, 105.1 came down and ended up being a really good day. try to get there early since the parking lot gets packed fast. its located on sunrise highway in bayshore.

There will be no more pca meets at tobay ~ I wonder if we could get a permit to setup a possibly a supra autocross event even though i own a wrx now i would have loved to do a autocross event in my supra its one of those things we should have done or possibly should do. hey man......its in long island....abt 3 miles east of jones beach...go on mapquest n get directions for jones beach.....when the directions lead u into ocean pkwy...jus stay on it n keep driving the extra 3miles on that same road n u will see a sign that says....tobay beach...keep left....jus keep left at that point n make that u turn...then u will see a hugh parking lot on the right side!!

take 95 north....it will turn into jersey turnpike....then take the exit for goethals bridge...which is exit num 13

then keep driving on the epwy....n u will see the verazanoo bridge...take that bridge n stay on ure left lane on the upper deck...u will see signs for belt pkwy east...take this exit n kepp on driving till the pkwy divides into cross island n southern state pkwy...take southern state pkwy...n drive till u see exit 24s..which is meadow brook pkwy south...it will say jones beach..then drive abt 6 miles n u will see a sign that says tobay beach keep left...at this point u will see a u turn on the middle of the highway..make the u turn n then make the first right...u r now officially at the 2005 supra meet at tobay!!!

The directions are great except it's exit 22s, not 24s on the southern state parkway. 24s brings you to Merrick ave if I remember correctly.

If the roads are dry by noon time we are definately going to be out, for you the closest zip code is 11710 from that map you can see wantagh pkwy which you take to Tobay Beach.

Alright the weather doesn't seem too be bad tomorrow.

I detailed my car Thursday and it poured Friday and Saturday .. car's almost filthy again..I have the worst luck in the world.. hate my life.. lol.. I officially took off all sundays now.. so hopefully this season will be an eventful one..

Funny thing Porsche Club was there today although they said they will not be a Tobay anymore. So I see next sun is supposed to be 0% chance of rain but its still too early. Hopefully its nice so all the not so local people show up.

This is true.. and I came ultra mega late cuz I'm lazy.... big disappointment though..... the rain.. nobody outside of the norm supra crew thats at dpa usually.... and yogi bringing that red brick out rather than the real beast just made it that much worse..

Yeah i didnt get up until one and called yogi and he said that there were 4 or 5 of you there but im 4 hours away by time i got there it would be late so... next sunday is looking good.

are we all going to meet up and roll into Tobay together? how bout meeting up at speedworld? looks like we should go early or ontime at least as other forums are organizing large groups as well and parking may become a problem.

true true....lets meet up at 10:00 am at speed world and roll to tobay....we must leave speed world by 10:30......late comers jus meet up at tobay...
