View Full Version : Gigantic Motorsports park opening in NJ soon

whats up..i got my new issue of a pilot's magazine that i subscribe to and i was reading an article in it about the millville airport and how they joined together with this association to build a huge mototrsports park...its got a 4.1 mile road course and a 3/4 mile oval and a go kart track and i think an off road track also....its planned to be opened in 2006 and everything is a go so this is serious not like that e town road corse that finished but they wont open it...check out the website...maybe u guys already know this but its news to me and i cant f*ckin wait foir this to open cause ill be spending alot of time there...

im surprized they didnt go for the entire package and put in the drag strip just for the hell of it...i know atco and all that are close but why not...

anyway next time im in the air im gonna make a stop at that airport and try and take some pics from the air of the track and the area..

Oh wow im so excited!! The only thing that sucks is its basically on the other end of the state. :(

little late on my post but that track is near me .. not that far of a drive thank god .. but the entire project will not be done until 2011 .. so its said .. but the road course should be done by 07' .. so that means 08' ..

They have been planning this for a few years now and they got all of the permits and OKs last year.
They say phase 1 will be up next year and the whole project will be complete in 2011. I wish they had a time line for when the tracks will be open, I am assuming that the karting tracks will be open sometime next year and the 4.1 mile track after that and then finally the hotels.
This complex is going to be huge and have 300+ hotel rooms right at the track, I hope they get some large racing events there in the future. The only downfall is that I have heard the run off room is not enough to have Formula 1 or MotoGP races.

yeah i hope it will be done asap so i wont have to go to poconos anymore
