Pacific NW Start of Race Season Dyno Event - 03/05/2005 - RESULTS
This event was awesome. We made it through 53 cars in all which is our single day record for the dyno. The best part though, was the attendance. You guys FILLED our parking lot! Overall, about 500 people showed up. Thank you to everyone for making this event a success. Just a heads up - we'll be doing another dyno event in May/June which will be a massive 2 day session with over 100 cars dynoing. We expect to have multiple cars over 1000hp at this event so it should be a blast :)
Here are the results:

But look at what #8 is :p. I take it you had some issues, wasn't your last dyno there ~430rwhp?

yeah a buddy pointed that out to me
Yeah I thought I'd have the problem I had last time I was there of not being able to hit more than 16lbs so I unplugged a hose like stu does and I hit 24lbs  I don't know my octane but I got to Auburn Friday morning with my gas light on and put 14 gallons of Cenex 94 and then drove down the street and topped off with 76 100. Then I stopped in Longview and topped off with some Chevron 100. I'm going to guess I was around 96-97 octane. I was straight 120 in boise when I made that 430/447.
1st run:
My A/F was in the mid 13's from 4000-5500 then started to go down to 11. A few pings, pops, and some smoke. I didn't get a chance to reset the ECU.
2nd run:
My A/f was in the 14's when my 2nd turbo kicked in so I let off.
3rd run:
Plugged the hose back in and hit 20lbs. A/F started in the 13's and pinged and they yelled at me to let off but I saw on my laptop that it was dropping so I stayed on it :)
Time to tune the fuel :)

Pretty scary on the a/f. An OBD2 ecu will fix that problem.

I will explain myself (i am suprised no one said anything about my low numbers)
My Nterchiller bottle had run out (i was unaware until about 20mins before i went on the rollers) so i was only able to turn on my shot. I had just switched from 50 to 75 shot jets and didnt know that my bottle for that was almost out too. So during the first pull on the dyno, my second bottle ran out but the fuel jet kept spraying. So i basically ran so pig rich (a/f went off the chart rich) my car died when i let off the throttle. I am pretty sure i fouled my plugs in the process because it barely made it through the next pull at all.
so my numbers sucked and it ruined my day. I am waiting on new spark plugs now so i can give it another try.

Good times, good times! That is a great selection of cars that dyno'd too.. I cant wait for the next one.. I have a feeling I wont rank so high on that list.. lol
Regrettably, I should have dynoed. I could have been second! It was good to see the supras taking top spots though regardless! :D

It's ok Chris, you don't have to lay the "I ran outta nawz" excuses on us. We still think you're a cool dude. :D :p
Just joshin' ya bud!

I hope you ordered 6 of them... The big ones... overnighted from Japan :D
Yeah my numbers ruined my day too. It's a shame we have to do our runs so quickly. It would be nice to reset the ECU after pinging a bunch. I only got 2.5 pulls because I let off really early on my 2nd pull.
How many pulls did that big old loud truck get?

2nd from the bottom or top? Remember you're "just a poser that doesn't even have his intercooler hooked up. Must be an N/A"

Like 16 or 17, I think it was strapped on the dyno for like around 12 hours.
When did it make its big numbers? Must have been the last pull that I missed out on seeing. :(
And yes Kale you should have dyno'd!!!

I don't know how many pulls that truck got. But I am wondering if most of us saw the "76 Farm Truck." dyno? I was thinking maybe most of us probably saw the #16 69 Dodge Truck dyno, that is owned by Robert, which made 316RWHP.
Did any of you Supra people see the "76 Farm Truck" dyno??? I didn't see it dyno and don't remember seeing it on the list of rigs that dyno'd. But it could have been on the list and I just don't remember it because I was looking at the list to see if I saw anything that might be capable of beating my dyno run and if I would have seen a "76 Farm Truck" I might have thought it wouldn't do too much horsepower. Little did I know...haha... Did TF's Red Supra sneak on to the dyno on one of the last runs of the day after I left?
My RedRyder was still number one when I left and I was just hoping to come in in the top ten...haha... But then I left when there were about 6 or 8 more cars left on the dyno list to dyno, so I can't attest to what happened towards the very end.
I know Chris (Kale) would have beat me if he would have dyno'd, that is if he would have been running with his turbo connected...haha...

That sounds like a good farm truck...haha... Good for drag racing too.
Were you at TF's Saturday dyno day? Do you know when it dyno'd? Looks like you should have dyno'd your car too...

The duster is stripped :( hopefully will be done for next years race season.
And the talon is AWD but I have timeslips :)

Sean,
A good turnout as always. Next time we will both have to be there. :)

Sean that is my red Supra on the left sidebar. I think I have only been to PIR Friday drags a time or two, but only to watch (also I don't have a roll bar). I'm so old that I am like the chickens and have to have my claws over the roost pole before dark...haha...
Nice looking yellow car you have there. Keep working on your duster. Do you have any pictures of it? Have you had it at the drags before and our you rebuiilding the whole rig now or what???

Well if you come down to the night drags and see a pretty quick blue talon come down and say hi. Quite often at the night drags you will see HPF TF and the ER crew.
http://www.syphracing.com/gallery/albums/album13/tub4.jpg the wheel tubs.
its been an ongoing project since HS that has not made it down the track. The motor ran 11.2's @ 126 in a 4000lb b-body mopar so in the 3000lb duster it should rip off easy 10's witout nitrous. Wilwood brakes front and rear etc. I only need more time and 3k more and she will be done enough until the twin turbo 1200hp motor is built. (If I can ever stop dumping all my $$$ into the stupid 4cyl)
What all is done to your dawg? If you ever want to do freeway pulls we have a few fun cars that might be a challenge.

Sean it looks like you have a nice drag rig coming along there. Looking forward to seeing it at Woodburn someday...
I don't know if you have read this thread or not? Most of the info about my Supra should be scattered about that thread. But mostly it is just the PTE 67 turbo with bigger injectors all on a stock block and head.
