Did anyone go to PIR Saturday night 04/16?

Since the weather was good yesterday and last night did any of you go to PIR night drags last night Saturday 04/16??? If so did you drag race an if you did how did you do???

I went out and made a few passes. There was very few people there, the wait time between passes was about 5 mins. Matt with his black MKIII was running pretty good, I saw a few 12 sec. passes. He actually beat me once!!! There were a few vipers and corvettes runing in the 12's also, but nothing spectacular. Next weekend should be pretty cool. Jim Sr. You should have come out last night to practice.

I was seriously thinking about it. I talked to some locals and they said it would be real crowded and so I wouldn't get many passes. So I missed out and I am sorry about that...haha...

Yea... it was alright last night. But traction was very poor due to the huge puddles all over the staging lanes being tracked onto the strip. I managed to hit a 12.6@120 for my last run.. But I was stuck at 12.7 for most of the night, and even got a few very nice 13.3's in hahah.. See you guys next weekend at Woodburn for sure (praying for good weather!)

Did you race David in the MR2? I hear he is finally figuring out how to drive it. :D I might be able to let him have more power now.

Haha.. Yea, I raced David once.. He actually got me by .02 on one of our 12.7 runs.. But then he whipped out the laptop and fell right back into the 13's.. lol, better take that thing away from him. I was having a horrible time with wheel hop in the burnout box and off the line. Turns out both of my motor mounts are broken, I am hopeful that this may have attributed to my puketastic 2.3 - 2.4 60' times. :dunno: I was running my trusty 555's at 18psi but no matter what I did I would boil them in 1st, and either miss or bog 2nd.... Short story, it was just a bad night for getting off the line!! haha

Matt - Motor mounts? are you going to get them fixed before the 23rd? You have to get a rematch with David, he will never let you forget his victory.

What Supra owners are going out on the 23rd???????

Yep.. verified it this evening, both motor mounts are torn in half and the motor is cockeyed now.. I am sourcing some solid mounts as we speak. :) If they dont come through then its off to the Toyota parts dept for some stockers. David will go down! That little red duece might get out a few cars on my through that 330' but once the big bad 1J starts gripping the pavement its goodnight to the 3SGTE! lol

One would think they would have got those puddles off of there so they wouldn't cause any problems...
