How hard is this fuel system to install and how long would it take? Also would like to know if the AEM standalone will handle it. I think so right?

The stage II is not too difficult to install and although I wouldnt recommend the AEM on a lawn mower, it should work. At least for a while, until that piece of crap EMS system locks an injector open and floods your motor...
Anyways, yeah install is not to bad, just takes some time.
If you need a fuel system feel free to shoot me an e-mail and we can discuss it.
Thanks

Anything but AEM can be used pretty safely. HKS F-con, Motec, Autronic, or MAP ECU all work well and dont have a history of destroying engines.

MAP ECU is only a piggy back device for fuel. AEM is complete stand-alone EMS system, albeit a POS one IMO.
Motec should not be compared to AEM, but Motec is a complete stand-alone EMS also.
Thanks

What do you use.... I think i am going to get the AEM and have a PROFESIONAL do the tuning. The people at xtrememotorwerks in paterson said that with the right tuning, AEM is perfectly fine.

I agree, it is perfectly fine when tuned by a "professional".
On a lawnmower, that is.....

Everyone has there own opinion remember, I Have the AEM and I love it. you just have to have it tuned right, then it just acts like your stock ecu for your upgraded car.

Its amazing how many times this debate has taken place.
Please read the F-con thread in the shops and parts review section.
Bottom line is this, to date I have yet to see any other stand alone EMS system for an MKIV that is as inconsistant, and unreliable as an AEM. I dont have th etime to get into the debate here but read the thread and you can get a sense of what has transpired.
Whatever direction you go in, make sure that you are well informed and have a clear sense of what the pros and cons are with each system.

Its much more of a "set it and forget it" system compared to AEM, but then again, maybe you like playing with your laptop every morning LOL!
Good luck with your project,
