Bl 4" silencer?

I know some other people have asked about this, but was curious if you guys are still planing on making a silencer for you 4". My neighbors are going to shoot me if I dont quiet the car down. Thanks -Brett

My neighbors couldn't take it anymore and moved away.

However, I still need a silencer because the cops are starting to follow me around.. My car can be heard over 9 miles away!

I wonder how much HP the silencer will cause us to lose?

Tommy banh had it on his HKS Ti and he said no it shouldn't be bad, as long as your not hard on it with the silencer. He only used it when entering his neighborhood though.

I have a 4 inch silencer, made it a bit more quiet but still don't feel any power lose on the street or dyno.

why not run dual mufflers.....summit has a dynopax bullet muffler or something for $30. Its one nice straight through unit when you see it in person just like the BL unit. Im thinking of going with that and putting it in the middle to act like a catalytic converter...lol

Yeah, a 4" Dynomax bullet is like $38 plus shipping from Summit.

Thing is, those mufflers dont really muffle shit.. I used to run them on my LS1, and it was just as loud as with open headers as it was with those mufflers, those mufflers just gave it a different tone, got rid of a lot of rasp, but the volume was the same.

FWIW I have ordered another 4" MP from BL and a Borla oval XR-1 Muffler which I will install, that way I can swap quickly between the two set ups
