Exhaust and Passing Smog in CA

hey guys, i have an sc300 with a 2jzgte engine but no exhaust. i plan on eliminating the precat with an hks or rmm downpipe. will i pass smog with just the main cat in cali? should i go with the stock downpipe with the precat? thanks.

your engine swap won't pass. you need both cats to pass.

You will probaly not pass visual. You should definately go to a "friendly" smog station.

You probably wont pass the visual, but you will pass the sniffer.

Is everything in place the way it came from the factory on the supra? Other than the dp? What year is the sc?
