I got pulled over tonight for nothing...

So im driving around with my friend cuz i promised him a ride in my ride on the weekend so at around midnight and went to this area where they usually race around and i saw a cop there and he saw me and then he turned and followed me. i kept driving slow and then i pulled into this one area by a warehouse its a shop i been to before and he pulled in right be hind me too and turned on his stupid bright light and his blue and redlights. so i got out of my car and kept walking away like i was going to that shop place

me: what!!
cop: do you work here?!
me: no,
cop: what are you doing here?
me: trying to get this place's number
cop: he said some blah blah blah
me: why the heck did you pull me over?
cop: because i just chased out a bunch of racers outta here

then i started walking away to the door to see if i can see what time that place closes and stuff...

i just got in and left. I dont have anything wrong with my car its all stock and i told him that im all its all stock whats the prob?! The one thing he could get me on is the no front plate, but thats it?!

Im posting this thread to see if anyone has been in the same situations. I was the only car there, they cant do anything can they? how far can they go and cant you just tell them to leave you alone and not leave and they cant do nothing, and isnt there a thing that they cant harras you for no reason and cant intimidate you?

Im thinking ill go to the sheriff station monday by my work and talk to someone and see what they say about this story and see how far the cop can go and what i can do etc...

Thats nothing... I was fallowing my buddie who has a toyota pickup all 4x4'd out and we were goin to get gas at a gas station around 1am then I was gonna park my car and jump in his truck and go off roadin at night for some late night hick fun. So there is a cop at the gas station we pull into and I start pumpin my friend is pumpin his gas too.. well my friend leans in to my car and starts talkin to me while we wait for gas to fill up. Well he goes inside and I notice a shit load more cops start showing up. I was like wtf is goin on.. then a cop car rushs and blocks me in in the front and then another blocks me in from the back of and same to my buddies truck and they tell me to take the keys and drop em on the floor get my hands up and what not.. I tell them no cause I didnt do shit but get gas.. anyways they get their guns out now and im surrounded by 9 cop cars that I could count and was told to GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE WITH YOUR HANDS UP! So I do so and tell the cop What the fuck did I do... they come over start pattin me down and tell me to shut up. Im gettin reallly pissed by now and start tellin em im gonna file charges for harrasment and false arrest. They get even more pissy with me. They then cuff me and put me in the back of a cop car. Then they ask me what im doin in "This part of town" and why I was out late and doin random test on me to see if im high or drunk. I keep askin the cops what the fuck I was being harrased for and what I did. They then proceed to ask to search my car. I told them go ahead there aint shit in there anyways. They then later after all said and done tell me I looked suspicious with my friend leaning in my car as if it was a drug deal and then tell me they usually dont see "High end cars" in that area accept for drug dealers. So with my friend leaning in the cop said it looked like he was witnessing a deal going down. I was like you gotta fuckin be kidding me.. THen they say they dont want to see me in this part of town again. I tell the cop.. next time u fuckin see me better not pull me over unless your ready to loose your ready to speak to my lawyer cause I fuckin live in this town. He mumbles more bs to me and my friend and I take off. I tell you some cops have nothing better to do than bother people who havent done shit wrong.

I bet you didn't know that the supra was a cop magnet - now you do. The last thing you want to do, when being followed by a cop, is act suspicious. Going to a shop at midnight will raise a flag even if you were driving a station wagon. If I were the cop I would have stopped you too. Next time a cop follows you, just set your cruise control to 35 or whatever the speed limit.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you didn't get a ticket and hope you learn from this experience.

That's Phil Henry, a local talk show host on AM 640. If you don't know him, he's a fake. He pretends that he has guests and/or callers but he does all the voice. He's basically talking to himself. Listen carefully and you'll see that it's the same person talking.

Hanging out at races is illegal. I made that mistake once and pulled over for expired registration. Mind you the registration was only one hour expired (it was 1AM) he then proceeded to talk the talk.

Next time, why don't you take your wife, girlfriend, or whatever you have going on out to a nice dinner and movie instead of the races. If i see your car here again i will pull you over and impound it. And don't think that i won't do it .... bla bla bla bla..... people might think they can drive perfect, but i'll find something.......

i got pulled over in my high school parking lot for doing "30-35" when i was going like 15-20
it was spring break and i was going to track practice and there are these two fat cops in a car sitting there watching over a grand total of like 5 cars. I park my car and when i come out with my track bag, they have their hands on their guns and tell me to drop it and proceed to search through my stuff, then they start asking for my registration and insurance. You'd think they'd do something productive besides watching over like spring break track practice of like 20-30 people. Then they tell me I don't even deserve the car and I shouldn't be driving a car like that and then they only let it go because they got the track coaches over to question them whether i was part of the team.

Too be honest with you guys I HATE ALL COPS. F-every pig who should go suck a monkey's cock. A cop 4 months ago called in a fake high sped pursuit as he had me handcuffed face down on the pavement where I had immediatly pulled over.He had his gun shoved in the nape of my neck and told me to shut the fuck up. 9 more cops show up begin to verbally harass me. CAlling me he whats up fucking speed racer, forget where the gas pedal is?? And other comments. They pull me record on their on board computer in front of me and see that I have a clean record. They're trying to push the arresting officer to put me in the back with his mutt.Who prbly doubles as his GF. My friends come looking for me cuz I was going to the gas station, they show up and are like what the hell is going on. They tell them i was street racing. It's 12:00am on friday (go figure). The cop is bragging to his buddies that the reason he caught up was because I missed a gear!!! He was driving a suburban unit. They pop my hood without permission, search my car, take turns sitting in the drivers seat, flick me off as they do it, and take turns getting refreshments from the convience store he conviently cornered me in. They charged me with a felony, and I spent 1 night in jail like a criminal. He wrote the report which literally read that my car could outperform a formula 1 racer. I brought the cars track and driver, government crash report on the cars performance.
The DA said that unless I wanted to draw it out and pay alot more to my lawyer I must donate $500.00 to MADD. I went to Madd, where the lady treated me like a drunk. She told the other lady it was part of my settlement for either a DWI, or drinking charge. I angerly stopped her mid sentence and told her the truth. The system screwed me over 2250.00 between all costs. I had that money saved to pay me baby off, but thats no longer the case. I used to appreciatte police befor this no I hate them ALL! My complaint also got filed, the same as everyone elses some where in the file called Recycled paper only.
Cops are A-holes. If you think otherwise put yourself in my shoes. Imagine getting your car back from impound with hot coffee stains, coke, other liquids purpsely spilt in your car, All over your interior. To all who sympathize with cops plz don't come to the texas meet. If I know you posted more nice things in their favor I'd like to see how you feel if I pee on your steering wheel, interior,seats, and shift boot.

So my dad gets back into the car, and then the 2 cops walk towards the car. They open the doors and then give you the famous "Please step out of the VE-Hi-CLE." So I get out...then it's place your hands behind your head. WTF? Is this a joke? Before you know it my dad and I are in handcuffs and in the back of the police car. The cops told me I was driving a stolen car and the LoJack was going off. Stolen car! I had the f*cking bill of sale, copy of the check, and a copy of the original title. How could it be stolen? IDIOTS! So as we are in the car for about 2 hours, I hear on the radio, "we have the black 2002 Celica in impound, it was recovered." So I tell the cops this and they don't care. I then tell them that this is a SUPRA, not a Cellica and production was stoped in 1998, and that the car has over 100,000 miles....IT IS NOT NEW! Then the stupid cops tells me "It looks new." Me, " I take care of my shit." So finally the sargent comes down and my dad and i get released. What a day. So I know what you are talking about.

I realized yesterday driving home from the shooting range that I had my loaded pistol in its case on the passenger seat next to me (instead of the trunk) - haha - you just end up not sweating the little stuff.

i got pulled over tonight... i screamed onto the higway doing about 110, but then let off the gas and coasted to 80-85. i saw some headlights make some quick maneuvers about 7-8 cars behind and thought 'that might be a cop.'

he stayed back though for about 5 miles (very sneaky) and i crept along at 80 or so. i went to pass someone in the fast lane maintaing my speed, and boom, he sped up & got me.

pull over, windows down, hands on the wheel... "how fast were you going?", i tell him the truth, "75-80 sir"... give him license/registraiton.... his buddy fresh out of the academy comes over and asks me if i have any mods... "that's illegal, sir"... "c'mon, you don't have any nitrous or anything, this car is sick!"

haha... i knew then i probably wouldn't get a ticket.

lesson of the story?
- make cops feel safe by pulling over in a safe spot, roll down windows, hands on the wheel
- don't lie to them about your speed, admit you were speeding (i've been pulled over 10+ times and i've admitted my speed, and... no tickets)
- in this case, my 11/99 plates probably didn't hurt matters :-)

It would also help to turn on the interior light so they can see you're not "up to anything". And yeah, I got let go by a cop recently, I was fully cooperative with him, he saw my gun case in the back seat, asked me if he could inspect it to make sure not loaded, I cooperated, I had nothing to hide, and he basically searched the whole car and then let me go and we talked casually, not all cops are bad, just 90% of them are.

Yup, I agree with you 100 percent. When I was in my early 20's got pulled in my MKIII constantly. Now in my MKIV and my late 30's, do a friendly blow off valve dump and lower my tinted windows and do a friendly wave, no problems. I guess getting old, sometimes has it's advantages. I think. :dunno:

After reading alot of these past occurances everyone's been through I realized I wouldn't have the patience to deal with the police like you guys did. I'd easily snap if they accused me of stealing a car, supposedly making a drug deal, or looking like a typical streer racer. After being put into a position like you guys have been in I think I'd be going to jail for a legitament reason.
