Interest in a Phoenix Meet and Drive?

I wanted to see if anyone was interested in a Phoenix meet and maybe a drive we can organize. I have not had the chance to meet many Supra owners here in Phoenix and I would like to see if we can get something put together now that the weather is a little more tollerable.

Okay guys, I know it is around the Holidays and it is hard to plan anything this time of the year but how many people are up for a meet January 7th (Saturday), either at night or during the day. If we do it during the day maybe we can do a meet and a scenic drive, if at night we can meet and roll down to the Pavillions (Indian Bend and the 101) carivan style. Lets start taking roll of who is interested and what they are intersted in, day or night. I would love to see a row of Supra's cruising down the 101.

Okay Guys,

Here is what I think would be a good plan. Let's plan on meeting at Arizona Mills Mall Parking lot, near the Krispy Kream donuts. (Located in the Arizona Mills parking lot, sperate building off of Priest Road I think). Let's plan on meeting at 6 p.m. We can then gather there and roll over to the Pavillions around 6:30 or 6:45. THe Pavillions is located on the 101 and Indian Bend. This is on January 7th (Saturday). Please let me know all that are interested, I do not want to be the only one sitting in the parking lot. Any suggestions please let me know.

my car was keyed by a hispanic teenager with a honda civic that has laborghini doors because i told him i wouldnt race him on the street. i thought my bumper was kicked in but insurance looked at it and said someone backed into it. there are only about 3 or 4 threads where this kinda bs happens, and if youd notice they all involve ryan, and i think 1 or 2 involve jt, and by the way i didnt even know jt had a wife, and i dont believe you know me.. so before you judge me you may want to meet me first

oh yeah, definately my fault a rod bearing went out driving normally. and you have no room to talk, did you even see my old rsp? woon's rsp was nice, but im assuming it was a factory 97 or 98, which means most likely the paint on it is 6 or 7 years old from toyota. my car's paint was redone by a BMW collision center, and the paint and repairs took 4 and a half months. the kit was moulded on perfectly, and the paint was very very nice. i dont see where you get off bashing me because i owned an NA, im sorry, i cant afford a tt 6 speed, im not rich. but i still tried my best to make the car as nice as i could.

I am what one would call... a wise sponge. Only soaking in what is essential. :p My only mistake was not running the car with the stock ECU(having the same mods). It is a very underrated piece of electronics and should never be overlooked.

Arrive at Krispy Kreme at ~6:30 with the group.

niceness i fixed one of leaks turns out my By pass valve had come out of my y pipe thus causein me to loose almost all boost. i still have a few leaks and i found out while i was installin my lazy eye kit it looked as if my BC wasn't even hooked up so that could be one of the power killa's.

it seems its a lot of arizona people's cars that have been scammed on ebay lately and for as long as i can remember. my old white supra was on there before, even my new 1 was on there yesterday! i saw it when i was looking at farzads, that auction has been shut down already though. im all for people bidding on cars if someone is actually selling it, but its just too easy for people to scam. i think ebay should make them prove they own the vehicle before they can list it.

Okay guys here is the situation on the reserved spots at the Pavillions. He can reserve spots for us but there has to be 2 or 3 of us up there at 4 or 4:30 to get this done. He said that there are a couple clubs already reserving spots for this weekend so he can give us the front row in front of the McDonalds if we can get a couple of us up there at 4 to hold them. I can be one of those people, I need one or two others to be there with me at 4. I would suggest that anyone that wants a reserved spot be there at 5:30 or 6 so they do not get taken. Please let me know ASAP if you want a reserved spot or if you can be there at 4 or 4:30 with me.

Anyone Know a Red Supra TT that has the license plate "Mach 10" on it??? I saw it right down my street for the first time and I usually never see any Supras here, I can tell it was a six speed as well...

i may be able to make it there at that time. i took my car through a carwash today and the fan surprisingly cracked off the crappy veilside rear addon. depending on if i can get it back on in time... im not sure... and dont worry the red paint is off the exterior of the car, just a few speckles, wheels have been replaced and hoods been buffed so it wont be an embarassment this time.

I am not sure if you are worthy of my advice, but Jet Fuel/Diesel will take just about anything off of paint without damaging the finish. It is also one of the greatest degresers known to man along with brake parts cleaner. (not suitable for paint though)
Rub that on the car lightly with a terry cloth rag and you will be good to go and it is cheap as hell. :)

its off the paint = ) but thanks they just got teh concentrations of it off so it wanst noticable, half the car still needs to be repainted though. its just a temporary fix until i can come up with the money the insurance agreed upon. mainly for the seats, they told me it was my fault for leaving the windows down, so they agreed on 2 deductables 1 for interior 1 for exterior and theyl take care of it.

To get there from Glendale just take the loop ... pick it up at 51st ave or the clostest loop access and head east. Go all the way around past the SR51 till you see the Indian Bend exit.

To get to In-N-Out, go south on I-10, get off Ray and take a left, you should see it on the left side about a 1/2 mile... You can't miss it...

OH MAN- Just (this very minute) got a call from the guy who I sold my car to in Hawaii and said that the shipping company had left the car slip on the side or some shit and the front wheel got completely cracked, waiting to get pictures...

He asked me what places he can ship the wheels to get repaired, anyone know a place???
I feel sorry for the guy, but the shipping company is going to pay for it....
I just don't know if it was the shipper's fault or my bad luck...

We will meet at the Crrcle K just east of I-10 and Ina on the north side of the road.(2 blocks or so) Time will be 3:00 I suggest so we avioid the sunset in our grills. Depending on who else goes with me, we will go to In-N-Out on Ray road to grub then go to the Krispy Kreme to do some Parking Lot Pimpin' like last time. Arrive at Krispy Kreme at ~6:30 with the group.

I did not get to reserve spots because I needed 2 or 3 people to meet me at the Pavillions at 4 and no one chimed in :faint: So we will have to half ass it again and see what we can find. Lets plan on meeting at the In and Out on Ray Rd. in Chandler at 4:30, we can all then grab a burger and roll out to the Pavillions leaving In and Out at 6:00, that should put us at the Pavillions at 6:30 or 6:45.
