okay guys, im fixing to get rid of the car due to it sitting too long. i dont have much time to spend on it any more and need help. car boosts. no power. its freakin wierd.
car starts and idles.
will free rev easily.
i put in gear and can drive up to 2500-3k rpm @ maximum half throttle.
if i floor it, she chokes and will slowly rise in rpm, but will sputter when boost pressure applies.
its drivable when theres no boost involved, which sucks. i currently have a manual boost controller, set @ 11 lbs boost. the ISC valve is plugged in, just not connected to the coolant hoses. everything else is connected and in working condition. i dont want to junk this car, but im mighty tired. i have the feeling its running lean when boosting, but dont have an a/f meter. timing is set correcty with timing light. idle to 2500 drives like normal. just no power.

Fuel pump giving out. Get you a new fuel tank, it's only about 400 from the dealer.

Have you checked for codes?? checked for a boost leak??

p.s this is in the wrong section, should be in technical.

mine did that after sitting for almost 2 years, and getting a new motor. I was told that inactivity causes the AFM, cps, and igniter all 3 to go bad. Mine turned out to be the AFM. I pulled the one from my other car and put on it, and it cured the problem right away. Now she's driving like a brand new car!!!!!!!
