Receiver

My freind has a detachable face receiver, and he touched the connecters from the face to the receiver with a screw driver and now it doesn't work. Is there a way to fix these?

He might have blown the fuse, check the back of the deck there should be a fuse back there if it's a half decent reciever, check to see if it's blown. If it is, have him replace it with the same type of fuse (ie: Don't replace a 20 with a 30 cause he's too cheap to go buy more 20's) That'll just lead to more problems. Tell me if it works out.
