How to disconnect tweeters?

I've posted this once before, but got no answer. I can't find a good way to disconnect the stock tweeters, besides running new speaker wire through the doors. I just installed a new cd player, polk components up front and amp and now need to take the stock tweeters out of the loop. I can barely see where the wires plug into the tweeter way up high in the dash from underneath, but there's no way in hell of reaching up there. Please help. Thanks.

you should be able to intercept those tweeter wires further down the loom
like near the deck
