hey guys im not new to the car scene i usualy work on hondas and rx7s but i just bought a 1990 supra turbo today car is a automatic i know some stuff about boost from the single cam hondas i had turbo but supras are new to me i just had a couple quick questions are the at trannies good for high power or is it better to swap a manual in and how much power do u thik they can hold i plan on keeping this car for a long time cause i got it real cheap (900bux) and the body is perfect just needs to be repainted and needs some new seats also how much boost can u run on the stock motor with proper tunning and are their any programs out der where you can chip the ecu like crome & uberdata like you do on hondas thanks guys :)

auto trannies won't last too long under high power on MKIII's. You can either get a built auto tranny to hold high hp or just swap in a R154.
The most boost I heard you can run SAFELY on pump gas(93 oct) is about 18 psi.

thanks for the fast reply how much do r154 trannis run and how hard is it to swap out and do u guys recomend a bigger turbo for it what r the specs of the stock turbo

any one else have any advice also what are some things that go bad im really not familar with them at all

R154's aren't too much, around $4-700 for a used one.

thanks how hard is it to cnvert over from at to 5 spd i know its a pain in a ass in some cars
