I'm having trouble bringing up Supraforums. I can open it on anyone else's computer, but not mine for some reason. Supraforums was running slow this morning, then ~9am it completely quit working for me, however I can open it on anyone else's computer. So far, I've clear all cookies, cleared all temporary internet files, ran a virus detection, ran spybot, and performed a disk cleanup. All other websites open with no issues. Is there something with my IP address that the server is rejecting??

Please help,

Eric

If your IP was banned you would get a message about it. Have you tried it with Firefox to see if it's IE acting up?

I actually just downloaded Internet Explorer 7, but no dice. I'm at my wits end with this with it going on all day.

Update: I actually reinstalled Windows XP, but still no luck. I don't have access to SF on my personal laptop, I only have it on other computers. I know of at least one other person this is happening to. What's going on here?

Hmmm, maybe we are having problems. I'll post this up elsewhere and try and get an answer.

Try another browser (Netscape or Mozilla) and try a proxy server or proxy website

If the hub in your area/or ISP doesn't have the correct supraforums dns info, it may not work

Yeah,, but I can get on it on every other computer I've tried. Plus I was was on it yesterday monring, but it died around 9am. I'm actually using my girlsfriends laptop now, which is about as powerful as a Flintstone computer. I was talking with Larry from Innovations last night and he was having the same problem on his shop computer; he couldn't get on and assumed the forums were down.

Also, I rebooted the connection and went so far as to reload Windows XP thinking it might be in the operation system. I don't know what's going on. I just know that the forums were running slow, and now I can't open SF. It's baffling.

If you are using her laptop in the same Rj45 jack (or same wireless connection) that yours is not working ... it is your laptop. (is that what is happening?)

If you haven't tested that, that is one sure fire way to narrow it down.

Try plugging her into your cable, just for shits and giggles, see if the result differs, then you can start to compare certain things

I have the same issue on my home laptop (not on any of the work computers I use). Won't work with either Firefox or IE. Just started the past week or so.

I can get here just fine browsing through a proxy service.

No worky on Safari here- just started this AM. No prob. if I just bookmark the index but this should be fixed guys. Black screens on www.supraforums.com.

Tried four computers now- only one has a problem (the one I use the most).
