No, this isn't another thread bitching about the search function being dead. :1poke:

Instead, it's a little suggestion for those that don't know how to do it already.

Basically, you can use Google to search just one website if you want. In this case, SF.

It's not perfect but it's better than no search at all and this is how you do it...

go to your Google search page and type the following

site:supraforums.com

then just add the keyword or phrase you are searching for to the end, like this...

Keyword search

site:supraforums.com ccw

Keyword with wildcard

site:supraforums.com gt42*

Phrase search - just put the phrase between quotes

site:supraforums.com "supra ftw"

Hope this helps.

P.S. If this has been covered already I apologise for the repost!

Thanks man. This "Google method" is alot less tedious than the previous one. Not knocking the other method, just applauding this shorter method. Works like a charm for me. Its not perfect, but it works....

SFsearch ftl btw :1poke:

I've been using this with Yahoo it works pretty good. There is a ton of pages that are not indexed however, so you can't search everything. Good post though!

Nice Job!

Unfortunately this is not that useful since Google doesn't index many of the pages or index them frequently enough :-(. Good for some things, but not others - agreed its better than nothing though.
