So Im looking at this plug in the pic above and It was NOT on the NA harness. This plug looks to be pretty significant as it has at least 15-20 wires in it. it is a white plug labelled AMP 11390.

Does anyone know what else is under the passenger footwell (Electronic wise) that this plug belongs to?

right now my fuel pump is not engaging and car wont start. I have a good feeling it has to do with this plug.

I have a TT harness in the car (not a modified NA harness)

Any thoughts from folks that have gone NA to GTE?

Thanks.

Does your AEM connect to your lap top? If not, you can't go in and set up the injector and start up parameters to be even trying to start your car.

As far as the plug, I'd have to look and the car is not here. I was about to guess that it's just the speed control plug, but I think that one is flat.

Yeah I configured the AEM for startup already. I already configured the TPS, MAP, IAT, injector size.

I was told that that plug may be for the Trac ECU. and is not needed nor does it have any bearing on the EFI system for startup.

Im still trying to work this one out. Hopefully someone who had similar issues will chime in.

That is correct, it is for the trac ecu. I don't have anything plugged up to that on my swap and the car starts and runs as it should. Check your fuel pump wiring. Im assuming you upgraded the pump with your swap. Are you getting any spark?

Another thing you can do if you have a stock gte ecu is try to get it running on that first to eliminate the aem being the issue. I like to remove as many variables as possible when i troubleshoot.

^^ I hear you, but all I have is the JDM ECU that came with it. I am not getting spark and my injectors are not firing. Fuel pump is pumping after i did the 12v splice at the Fuel Pump ECU.

I have to sort out why I have no fuel or spark. It might be the JDM ECU doesnt match up with the USDM harness.

I will swap back to AEM tomorrow AM and give it another try

Any good way to test ignitor for functionality?

Sorry to nosy in but I'm actually about to do the same swap in a few weeks. In the process of gathering all the parts... curious to see how you resolved it. Please keep posted on the thread.

Well

I put the AEM back in and ditched the JDM ECU. I set the crank advance to 10 and the injectors to Denso 550cc (2ohms)

I crank the car and it kinda sputters. and never quite starts to idle. like the timing is still off.

I verified the timing marks and they line up perfect. the crank angle setting in AEM is set to 10.

Anyway I can verify if i have a working crank angle sensor and cam sensors?
