Just a short:D:D report from my trip to the states, the visit of RRevmotorsports and the 11th Supras Invade Las Vegas meet.

I arrived a week before the meet in portland @ RRev, but there was no engine in the RED car :(
so i helped the guys where i could and we finished everything in time.

after the 1st run we changed the suspension setup

after the 2nd run we switched back from the 29"tall slicks to the 28"
in that time we missed the 3rd run and tim went directly to the eliminations

Andy was a great addition to the crew and made the adventure even more fun.
I hope he has more vacation time cheduled over the winter - we start rebuilding for Texas in a couple of weeks.

Thanks! Hats off to the RRev crew for trying to get my car in shape for this event with the 67 mm turbo upgrade. Now we have to track down all the missing power, but I'm just glad the tranny didn't give way at the drag races.

Thanks for posting your pictures Andy. It was nice to finally meet you. I hope you had a good time with our RRev friends. Sorry to see that their rod decided to "SPLIT" from the scene at a most unfortunate time. Oh my friend I am 75+ and as a matter of fact I will be 76 in a few days...haha...

I was a little slow on the way home as we just made it home last night...haha... But even at that I might be a tad faster than a lot of guys my age!!!

It's too bad the "BIG DOG DRAGS" took away from the SILV event. It would be nice if RyanW would be the coordinator for the SILV drags races next year and put as much time, money and effort into restoring the SILV event.
