was gonna get a gravity-feed HVLP paint spray gun soon for smaller work. I was trying to keep it on the cheap (<$100 range) and I was just wondering what everyone's favorite brand/model is. Anything I should specifically stay away from?
I'm admittedly new to this kind of painting, so help is appreciated....

OKAY lets get alittle more specific then.
I'm ideally looking for somthing that can spray from primer to clearcoat.
Was thinking on getting something used like this- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2025071580
Is this a good idea or am I ignoring some aspect that will come and bite me in the ass later? ;)
I'm SURE someone in here knows how to spray their own paint.....

Well, i have a finishline by devildus. . .it's not the greatest, but it is good for primer, and base coats. I have never used it for clearing, but i don't think it owuld do too too bad. My favorite brand is Sata. . .i'v got an NR2000. It has a very nice pattern. It's great for Clearing, but carries a high price tag. . .over $450.

For a while I was spraying with a Binks Model 18 and is one of the best conventional spray guns. But, with all the stipulations concerning auto paint and painting in general, conventionals are probably a thing of the past. Anyway I just picked up a nice DeVilbiss GTi gravity HVLP. It comes with an air regulator, 1.3, 1.4 & 1.5 fluid nozzels, cleaning kit, and disposable paint bags to reduce clean-up significantly.

Thruth be known, I'm more of a geek than a gearhead, and I'm looking for some way to paint computer chassis, as well as touchup small areas on two of our cars....
Here's some pics of my current computer w/ a friend's paintwork.... (http://raginggrandpa.20m.com/webpage.html)
