I was driving up my hill, everything was smooth and nothing was acting up and all of a sudden my car started jerking, like it was running out of gas, then died. My gas was low so my friend got me some gas. Started her up again and same thing, it started, idled rough, then died. So for sure its not a gas problem since we gave it a couple gallons. I was able to drive her for like 5 seconds to turn her down hill. The only reason why that worked is cuz every time I feel the idles dropping below 5k rpm, I floor it to and when the rpm's jump i let go of the clutch to make it go. As i started driving it downhill it was acting up even while i was giving it gas and next thing you know it, rpms drop and the car dies. So i used my momentum to bring me down the hill. A friend of mine said check the intercooler piping and couplers. All are intact. Then i checked the MAF piping in front of the turbo, everythings intact. My cars still at the bottom of my school's hill!
Heres my setup:
1994 OBDI Supra 5spd
Precision PT67 Turbo (67mm turbo, .63 AR)
DaveH turbo exhaust manifold
Tial 38mm wastegate with 7psi spring
Wastegate dump tube
BoostLogic front mount intercooler kit (precision intercooler core)
Mandrel bent aluminum piping, silicone couplers, clamps
HKS SSQV blow off valve TIG welded on IC pipe
BoostLogic oil line kit (SS feed/return line, union bolt, with fittings)
3” downpipe
3” midpipe,
MAP ECU 1
Any info. will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris

Check you Map ECU wiring again, next check all your intercooler coupling and pipes. Make sure everything is tight. Report back on what you find.

Thanks for the quick feedback. The intercooler couplings are on tight with no holes and the pipes are fine, nothing wrong or looks wrong. Ill check the map wiring. My friend said to disconnect the battery and reconnect to reset my ecu. hopefully those work. Ill come back with updates early morning.

Could be a Maf issue. I had the same problem with a 300zx and it turned out to be a dirty intake filter which pissed me off. Look for the stupid possibilities first then go from there.

Well i took out my intake filter and started it and same thing. Can you clean out the actual maf itself?

Hello change your fuel filter & see what happens. Also recheck the pump install. Just a thought

Check your vacuum lines. Last spring I drove out to weigh my car, everything was just fine. When I went to pull off of the scale though the car was falling on it's face whenever I tried to move. I was dumbfounded because I had no idea what could've happened between parking the car and starting it back up, and when I popped the hood one of my vacuum lines had popped off.
I don't know why it did it on shut-down but it did it a couple more times that day, when I shut the car off the vacuum line would come off. I put a ziptie on it and haven't had a problem like that since.

For those who want to know, I got my car back from the shop today and the culprit was the IAC. It just gave out supposedly which caused air to come into the throttle body but shut close after a while. A brand new one was around $400 but my mechanic had one laying around and got it for $100 :) . Probably too old and worn out or just gave out from boost. Thanks for the advice given prior to this post.
