I think my turbos may be on there way out and I may want to go single turbo. I dont have the $10000 to go large single on upgraded fuel and everything else. Anyway I was wondering what turbo's everyone would recommend to run on the stock fuel system. Im not looking for 700-800hp. Just around 500rwhp. Right now im already BPU with a side mount intercooler. Besides a FMIC what else would I need to go single on the stock fuel. I already have a list of what I need I just want to make sure im not leaving anything out along with recommendations of a turbo. Thanks for all the help.

PHR has a "street kit" for I believe approx $4k
The general consensus is the SP57/60 is awesome on stock fuel. Also, when u do decide to go to a bigger single w/ fuel etc. it's easy to go to a SP63 then.
BTW, if u need a fmic..I am going to big turbos and will soon sell my hardly used XS Engineering fmic w/ hardpipe kit & 20k stock turbos if u are interested. Private me @ racerxjling@aol.com
Good luck
Jeff

Contact Garage Advance, ANGEL, because he can set you up with a turbo kit for a fraction of the cost that Sound Performance would charge. Plus their turbo's are just as good as SP's.

I would recommend the SP63. :)
BTW you don't have to install a FMIC to go single. You will make more power, but it's not a necessity.
Later, Steve

They (Garage Advance) spend to much time fixing Supra's that they haven't had the time to get the other website up and running.

hey, just want to know if you guys miss your stockers?I a looking into a SP63 mostly becasue I want a single turbo, but I only had the car for a little while. The only reason why I would even do t now is becasue the shop wont charge me more. I am alredy taking it out. I was told that if I run 10 PSI and graually increase, I would be cool

And also they said that they bth respond alie in the sense that they both kick in at aroud the same. The only difference is that the SP63 will pull harder in all gears. I dont know. He is also tell me that I can build my motor or get a JUN block, but its not needed. As long as I stay around 700 HP, he said I wil be ok. What do you think? I could always just get a fuel system and a AEM for the time being :)

I would recommend getting an SP 57 if you plan on keeping the stock fuel system. If you see an upgraded fuel system in your near future, than go with an SP63.

What other turbo kits can you run on stock OE equipment... I was wondering about the Greddy T78 or something similar with a bigger name brand.

t78 on stock fuel would be a BAD idea.
