The black RB Chroming car ran 186.5 iirc. His rev limit was too low to allow him to stay in fifth, so he lost some mph due to the 5-6 shift.

Thanks for the pics, Zach. The tape on that Trans-Am is remarkable, definitely more than a few hours of work there. Don't understand why he did it since there's no car close enough to throw up gravel going down the strip.

it wasnt the plug in the tire that caused it. apparently there was a car that blew the motor before the z06 ran and basically ran over something from that car which caused the tire to blow and he was doing around 160mph at the time... scary shit..

Tires aren't designed to withstand debris at 160+, I seriously doubt it was the tire's fault.
