you'll need to find a 1jz flywheel-this is going to be pretty hard to do-might need to get one made up-you'll bascily need a 7m flywheel with a 2j bolt patteren for the crank
you're going to need a 1jz to r154 bellhousing-good luck here-this will be pretty tough to come across. Not many made and none ever in America
Also you are going to need 1jz engine mount brackets-this is also-you guessed it-going to be damn near impossible to come across.
The 1jz makes more sense to swap since you can get an mk3 front clip with all (well almost) everything you'd need to drop it in.

big important part....
if you want it to fit without big modifications, you're gonna have to go single.

wow, i just read my post. that reads terrible. what i meant to say without sounding like a complete jackass was that one big thing you shouldn't forget is that if you go 2JZ, you will have to go single, as the stock twins will not fit. there, reads a little better than that shit i posted. :p

this is what u need
1 engine(2j)
2 bellhousing from 1j if not going 6 speed
2b if going 6 speed u will need some hammer time
3 custom wiring harness
4 single turbo
4b or some more hammer time with ur fire wall
5 89+cross member and mounts
6 different intercooler cause u need the outlet on a different side
7 ecu or stand alone
8 clutch cause if u go single u need a stronger clutch that can hold the hps
9 misc. bolts and stuff
10 a whole lot of cash to pay the person whos putting it in or a lot of beers for ur pal whos helping
some one should make this a sticky or it should come up too all the newbies so they stop asking this f___ing question

what about the gears if u stay with the 5 speed u dont need too worry about it
if u go 6 speed then u need a customn driveshaft and lowering the gears too some thing like 3.11 for decent top end speeds or 3.23 for beteer track speed or 3.43 for the best track speed u can get before u peel ur way up the track
