What does everyone use to remove stains on their carpet?

Just a couple weeks ago i was cleaning my supra, inside and out. Just get some Oxi-Clean...Yah that stuff really works...on cloths too ... Keeps the whites whiter :) Just mixsome in a small bucket or hell even a cup, some warm water and a rag. Just scrub. My TAN carpet looks brand new. most were stains from soda, mud and other stuff. :bthumb:

general: Eimann Fabrik, soap+water solution, pinnacle, etc.

gum: a good, citrus-based cleaner usually does the job.

I've got some stubborn mud stains in the carpet of my truck that won't come out. I went straight at the carpet with oxi clean. That got Most of the stuff out, including most if not all the beverage stains. I have this big brown patch on my gray carpet which evidently was the stomp pad. It was completely matted and solid with caked mud. I got most out AFTER oxi clean by taking my hose inside. I turned the nozzle on a trickle and pressed I into the fibers. As the brackish water flowed back up, I sucked it out with the shop vac. So I got my nap back to normal but I'm left with tan-beige stains on my gray carpet.

Is there anything else to try besides oxi clean or gray carpet dye?

I use CUM-OUT. Gets rid of all of the stains, that you can't explain to your wife.

I found the best way was to rent a carpet cleaner (rug doctor) from a grocery store with the attachment + hose...carpet will look almost new after! Any decent carwash should have one as well.

Thanks guys. I'm talkin about the carpet itself, not my floor mats. Ive got like a pandoras box worth of fasteners holding my 40-20-40 split bench in my truck: fuck pulling the carpet.

I basically did rug-doctor my carpet though. I flushed water downward and it brought the dirt up out of the nap pretty well. I keep at it untill I could see clear water coming up. I had to empty my shopvac twice... Thats how long I was rinsing the carpet. Now that the dirt is out, there is still a big ol stain from it. I think oxiclean failed cuz its not an organic filth or oxidizable.

Little Bissel Green Machine is what I use. Works great.

I use the average household stain remover like Resolve or Shout and it works great. Basically whatever my mom has laying around the house.
