Anyways, this is the orderthat I'm going to do things to "my" supra.
mkiv stock polish al. wheels.
Save up and purchase 1JZ-GTE TT
Save up all over again, purchase Ab-Flug kit for mkiii
Save up AGAIN, mod the 1JZ out...
Ok, on the subject of the 1JZ, I want to keep a twin setup, what would be a good set of turbo's to use? t3/t4s? Upgrade to CT26's?(stock)
I'm thinking, custom IC, hardpipres, HKS SS, Blitz programmed ECU (Remove cap, and have tehm work the fuel map)... and such... this is a long ways away... probibly won't get the 1jz till the end of NEXT summer, then start putting the parts together to put it in. Put it in over the winter, then hopefully have enough money left to get the ab-flug kit, and take the car to the body shop to be done for the following summer...

OH yeah, I forgot to justify, the 1JZ is a factory offered engine, so that makes it ok... hehe
Mabye I'll drop the 7m in my daily driver, my 85 Celica...

hehe I keep forgetting things...
1jZ-GTE, 5-speed tranny, ECU, wiring harness, a couple other things, like alt, compressor and shiznit... $2500 to $3000 Canadian, shipped.
Mkiv Polished Wheels $1600.01 from Toyota (thats the exact price, LOL)
Ab-Flug kit ???
I think I might pick-up a set of those "scortchers" or whatever they are called too... with the red rubber stripes...

WEll I got a job offer to be the assistant manager @ a night club... still desiding on it, its good money, but know that I'm more secure where I am at... If I did take that job, the car would be done @ the end of next summer... hehe $1300 to $1500 to play with everymonth after all the bills paid... hehe...

the best TT setup for the low displacement 1JZ would be 2 HKS GT2510 turbos (support 550-600RWHP, done on a RB26DETT). nice fast response ball bearing turbos.

will they mount to the stock manifold, or will I be doing some welding?

The turbos mount on the stock manifold. I am running the complete Blitz twin K 26 kit and thoroughly enjow the spool characteristics. I have come to enjow the 1JZ more each time i drive my car. http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/mkiiijza70/vwp?.dir=/JZA-70+Archives&.src=gr&.dnm=Blitz+turbos.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/mkiiijza70/lst%3f%26.dir=/JZA-70%2bArchives%26.src=gr%26.view=t

Thats a nice setup. I'd like to hear more, about any problems you had, how the car builds RPM, how does it feel compaired to the 7m. What about the sound of the car?

The only problem I had was finding a good pipe fabricator for the pipes. The turbos spool up as quick as my CT-26 did on my 7M GTE. It sound similar to the 2JZ with full intake and exhaust BPUed +++. I is almost useless on the street because of lack of traction in all three gears from a stand still.

I know not what you speak of... hehe
I think I'll go 1jz when my 7m dies... which I will get the turbo fixxed, then run off that engine till it explodes, then get the 1jz... so time to save up...
