how much should it cost in labor to replace the upper and lower control arms of the right front wheel in a 94 supra TT? I was quoted $350 for the labor including allignment by a tire shop and $900 by a Toyota Dealer. Is it a tough job to do.

I would say $350 is much more fair than $900 which is way too high. I've never done it but I would assume they should be able to do the whole thing in a couple hours. Then the would have to realign the wheel. I would swear its like 6 bolts and two ball joints total.

Why are you replacing your upper and lower control arms?

I'm replacing them because while i was changing the rotors i noticed that the ball joints were loose (i.e. moving up and down). I also noticed a makeshift wire that was used to hold the ball joint in place (from the previous owner).

Was it causing a really annoying squek?

there was no squeak but the bushings didn't look to be in great shape either.
