These are cars registered as a "Supra." So if MK2 guys registered as "Celica Supra" then they may not be part of the 32 count.

Last year, there were MK2 guys that signed up their cars as "Supra" and they were instructed to park in the "Supra" parking.

Toyota Fest does not transfer registration from one person to another. So buying T701JZ's spot is something that you two would have to arrange on the side. Basically, you will not be an officially registered participant at Toyota Fest. You will be posing as T701JZ, so it is essential that you two have the same generation Supra.

Guidelines at the show:

if you are towing your car in, you have to arrive at 7 am. 730 at the latest.

Stay with your show car's designated area until 9am when the show officially starts. No walking around allowed until the show officially starts

Once the show starts, no more cars will be allowed to roll in.

Tents and chairs cannot be setup until 9am

No sponsorship banners allowed. Only car club banners allowed.

If you want to park next to a buddy, make sure to roll in together.

No bbqing and alcohol allowed.

This was my first Toyotafest meet and really had a great time. My son and I drove the Supra from Phoenix and it drove like a CHAMP.

I first want to thank Ume (Supra Fly) and his son Kishan (Boost Lee) for making the trip. Guilly and I have been trying to get more AZ members to experience Toyotafest and they are the first to come in the last 3 years. From what I can tell, they are both hooked! I also want to thank Ken Henderson for coming out to the Toyota Museum on Friday and keeping us AZ guys company. As always, it's great to hang out with you. I'm jealous of your IS-F, it is a stunning car. After Ume takes care of the next lunch, it will by my turn.

And to all the California members, I don't only come to see the awesome old/new school cars at Toyotafest, I come to see you guys as it's always a pleasure to hang out. You guys make us foreigners feel welcome every time we come out there. I only wish the event was longer so we can hang out more.

I C 3PO. This color is amazing and these pictures don't do it justice. I can attest to there being no pink in this color. Nick, finally seeing the car in person with the new transformation I'm very impressed. Love the old school wheels, paint is fantastic, and the lip and darkened headlight put the car into the next level. Well done my friend.

Thanx again to everyone for making it such a memorable experience again as it is every year! Seeing the changes made year after year on builds and just catching up with people again while enjoying some of the cleanest rides on the West Coast is such a treat.

Absolutely wonderful pics, Dave. They really provide a true sense of the event. Big congrats on your award. It was well deserved. I cannot believe the progress you have made on your car since the SPE Supra Appreciation Day where we first met.

Folks, Guilly, Dave, Ume and his son and I got a chance to meet the owner of that red Celica All-Trac (the last pic Dave posted) who, as luck would have it, was also from AZ. The amazing thing is, the kid did EVERYTHING to that car, including paint. It's a very nice car and runs like a top (I drove in with him before staging in).

Ume, it was great meeting you and your son and hanging out with you guys all weekend. It's really the comraderie that makes these get togethers and it's hard to beat the venue and Long Beach weather this time of year. Like Guilly suggested, we should try to get together again at the Japanese Nostalgic Car Show event. Thanks again, Dave. For those who could not attend, your pics are the next best thing.

No, as far as I know it's organized by TORC (Toyota Owners and Restorers Club) but it's supported by Toyota.

DSMT015, that MKIII is owned by the guy with the black shirt at the very left of the pic (his name is Nestor), the car is FLAWLESS (he bought a clean car and redid lots of it, including a fantastic paint job). He also owns a flawless red MKII (he didn't bring it this year) and he has a 98 that he will be working on next.
