#1- someone said I can run without a blowoff valve. Is this true? (5M-GTE). I have an automatic, not that it makes much difference, really. Its not that I dont want to run a blow off valve, its just that they are so spendy. are there any down around $30-40 that work just as well as the aftermarket ones?

#2- what is max boost i can run on a 5M-GTE with stock injectors? I would like to be around 8 PSI, but also would like to keep my engine in one piece. an rrpfr is a must, i know, but are my 190's enough? if i need bigger injectors (like 210's), where can I get them CHEAP, as in used for like $50 for all 6?

#3- with around 8 PSI, will I need an MHG, or will the stocker hold up? Do I need to torque the head down more, like some guys do on the 7M? where's the CHEAPEST place to get one?

#1 : you really should have a blowoff valve. They prevent turbo damage. You can just use the factory 7M on the cheap. SAAB and Porsche blowoff valve are also common cheap valves.

#2 : Not a 100% sure but you should be OK on stock 182cc injectors with a RRFPR. 210 cc injectors would be a plus though. You can get them pretty cheap from U-pull it yards from 85-87 4AGEs (Corolla/MR2)

#3 : My understanding you should be OK up to about 10psi on a solid factory HG. Although a metal gasket is really a good idea, it'll increase the safety margin some. You can find the 1.2mm HKS gasket in the lower 100's at quite a few places. If you do a metal gasket it would probably also be a good idea and get the 7M ARP studs as well.
