Is it possible to instal a 6 speed 2JZGTE on my MKIII please?
Is there someone you've done this modification?
    Thanks

The V160/V161 Getrag transmission (6 speed MKIV) does not
have any bellhousing that mates to the 7M-GTE engine. So unless
you have swapped to a 1JZ-GTE, you cannot mount this tranny
to your stock engine without completely fabricating a new clutch
    bellhousing/flywheel/assembly. I'm sorry. If you have a 1JZ-GTE
engine in you MKIII (which it says you don't), then you can bolt it
right up using a 2JZ-GTE clutch and flywheel set. You would also
need to make a custom driveshaft as well.

    Good luck.

jeff is exatly correct. The 6-speed wont connect to the 7m engine. if you are also swaping in a 1j or 2j, than it will fit. many say that the transmission wont fit in the tunnel, but thus is utter bull s**t. it does fit, the shifter will require some custom work, but thats it.
