Thanks-I might give ya a call this week.

The BB version will make 30 by 5400.... Remember these turbos are rated at max crank HP. In comparison a SP77 will also do about 1100.
So what are the specs on the 1100? Is it the same size as a SP77? What makes them different, and what do they cost with a full kit?!Originally posted by Sound Performance

Could you share some specifics on the SPSSGT850W and SPSSGT975W (i.e. spool, wheel sizes, etc.)?

When you say around 6000rpm for the SPSSGT1400W are you talking from experience on a stock 2JZ or a modified one and if so what mods since my engine has more cubes and higher CR than a 2JZ

yea im curious too

The 1400 is brand new, I am putting one on my car now. The only turbo I have spool up data from is the 1500.
Larry,
How does the SPSSGT650 and SPSSGT750 compare to the SP59 and SP61 in terms of spool/power? I assume the SPSSGT650 is a SP58GT with a GT turbine wheel and a SPSSGT750 is a SP61GT with a GT turbine wheel as well? What gains can be expected with a GT turbine wheel over the regular wheel?
PS. Is 15% drivetrain loss assumed for a 6sp?

The 650 and 750 are BRAND new turbos and to be honest I have never tried them...... id be completely guessing if I gave you an answer. I would suspect the 650 to spool incredibly as it is the smallest turbo in my lineup.

Id appreciate on knowing how its goes on your engine and the specs of your engine ie
Cams
CR
Rev Limit
Power
Boost pressure
I would appreciate all those wihtout NOS as i will not be running Nos

With the 1300 on my car I made 999 RWHP through an automatic unlocked at ~40 psi. 272 HKS cams, 8.75-1 CR, 9000 RL.
Larry, if you could answer the following i think i may go that wayOriginally posted by Sound Performance

SOLD!
Do you have any plans of testing this turbos any time soon..? I know those power ratings are expected max engine power but I want to see when they spool and the HP and TQ they put out at 18psi on pump gas on a stock fuel.Originally posted by Sound Performance

SP77 made 980 RWHP through an automatic at 38psi.so 1300 cant make more RWHP than SP77?
999RWHP at 40psi.how much boost to reach 1300hp?50psi?

My 999 was unlocked, Mikes 980 was locked up. Remember I pick up 130 RWHP locking up the converter. The 1300 HP number is crank HP, not RWHP. This turbo will flow over 175 HP more than a 77.
Hi Larry, looks like a real nice line up.
Sorry to add to all the questions but would the SPSSGT1500W be possible to really work on a 2JZ-GTE? Spool wouldn't be until 6500?
How much would this change if the motor was stroked to 3.4-3.6?
I take it a 6" DP (if fitting was possible) would be further beneficial?
Thanks very much for your time.
What about the budget kit? Any new turbos available![]()

There are two people already running this turbo on their supras. 1240 RWHP so far............. 6500 full boost, shift at 9000......5" DP would be sufficient. Stroking the motor will of course lower spool rpm.
