Anyone coming to the Snowbird Nationals this weekend at BMP?
Well its 12:30 and I just got home after being down at the track all day long with Matt and the rest of the crew for today's testing sessions for the Snowbirds. There are definitely some badass Pro Mods that we will be going up against but hopefully things will be on our side and we can make it through several rounds or even to the finals. Not to mention all the badass dragster's, bracket cars, Top Fuel cars, and Jet cars/semi's that will be running tomorrow and Sunday. I believe tomorrow we have our qualifying rounds at 3pm and 6pm or 4pm and 6pm(sometime around then)
Today in testing there were a few mishaps keeping each of the cars straight down the track but on each of their very first pass of the day, Matt went 6.81@206 and Tirso 6.86@203. After some more testing Matt was able to get a full pass in once it got dark and ran his new best ever of 6.68@208 so congrats to him for the new best in testing and on a run where it was darting around up top. Tirso's final pass of the night would have been even faster then Matt's as he was hauling ass off the line until the car got completely sideways on him.
Anyway, we hope to see some of you out there tomorrow or Sunday. It should really prove for a good time and as of now it looks like the cars are really gonna haul ass this weekend so come on out and stop by the rig.
