I'm about to do my TT brakes swap and figured I'll bleed the whole system at teh same time. So anyways, I read that to bleed the ABS unit, the trac control relay needs to be jumped or something. I think I got that down, but then I read somewhere in the same post over at "MKIV Technical" that NA's don't need to bleed the ABS because we don't have traction control. Therefore the ABS is like flushed everytime we bleed the brakes too or something. Can someone verify?
I believe it is flushed when you bleed the system so you don't have to worry about it. Since we lack traction control you don't need to jump the relay. I am not positive on this.
yah youre right. since theres no trac control the fluid doesnt go anywhere else. When you install your TT brakes just flush until the fluid runs clear and then some.
