    Descreening MAF?

Anyone have the low down on Descreening the MAF? I have read about it on some people mod list, but I would really appreciate an explanation and gains that can be done from this...

I assume when people say descreen it they are talking about the screen in the MAF..... So you just take it out?

Any information is appreciated! I feel dumb for not knowing this!

    Yes i searched!

Some people remove the screen stating that HP is gained through less restriction.

Others state that the screen helps keep the air less tirbulant, thus giving out optimum HP and proper A/F ratio then a de-screened MAF.

Haven't really seen any proof to prove one of the other. Both statements are very accurate theoretically.
