Well I don't know about you but to sit there and be a little bitch about someone commenting on the inside of a motor is gay, so therefore it pissed me off.

i can't imagine what it's like to drive a single turbo supra..the rush and gettin thrown back in ur seat..

Most chromers won't chrome anything aluminum or anything with oil inside them.

Yeah also besides the problem of most places not doing it, the ones that would wanted 700.00 just for the intake and tb to be chromed. Also I'm buying the virtual works manifold later this year, I figured wtf...

Where did you connect the water coolant lines for the turbo? I just got the same kit and I'm wondering about those lines, where would be the optimal place to connect them. Othewise everything else is pretty much standard.
Great project btw!
Thanks,
Johnathan
Johnathan,
We already had the stock water neck coolant spots welded shut, and the neck polished. I think Horacio said theres more spots to connect them down by the motor in the rear. We ditched the rubber hoses that came with the kit and got SS braided hoses for a much better look.
You could use the stock location though, and what would be really sick is drill and tap the factory water neck, and use earls fittings and hoses. That would be kick ass.
Originally posted by 0wned For now I'll probably just use the stock locations on the water neck, using the line right below the water neck as a return (goes back to the rear of the motor and attaches to the coolant pipe running back there along the block). Or should I just use both coolant spots on the neck? Hmm...
Using tapped fittings on the neck does sound really good too.
Use both lines on the water neck. That should be fine. Later you can add the braided hoses and dress it up.
Meh... Its hard to describe. It's like chrome that has been "blackified" heh.. its a very cool color, and would look awesome on valve covers. I belive its only painted on, and it's not a powdercoat color.

Interesting, I'll have to check into that. Must be like anodizing.
nope. not like anodizing... its a specific paint color ( or possibly its the way they paint) try searching on google or something, you should find some photo's of it.
