I think this Weldon Regulator looks best Polished only on the top for the two tone look. I could always polish the bottom too, but I just think it will look better the way it is.

Very nice work. Im going to be ordering a drive belt tensioner from elmhurst toyota that I would like polished. I was wondering if I would be able to have it shipped from the dealer directly to you, then after you can ship it to me. Below are a couple photos of Ford Mustang Cobra Trim Pieces after we polished them and thought some of you might be interested in seeing how the Metal Polishing Services came out. We had to take them entirely apart as the center section lights up, etc and after the completion of the polishing work we then put everything back the way it was originally and the pieces look a lot better than when we received them...they were more of a brushed look before.

That looks awesome Tony, I was going to send a bunch of stuff to RB this winter but I think I will be sending it to you instead. Do you put any kind of sealant on the parts that are steel so they don't rust or tarnish?
Why anyone would polish steel is beyond me. What kind of clearcoat is used? I can't imagine adhering to bare polished steel is an easy task.

Sealant is temporary.
Clearcoat yellows/cracks/flakes.
Aluminum in general is so soft that hazing and swirl marks are inevitable.

The above customer piece is coated and I have had mine polished and coated for quite some time now which has also been mounted in my engine compartment for quite some time as well with no problems at all. Adds a very nice accent to the engine compartment.

I have been testing the polished and coated cam gear backplate for quite some time now and honestly it stays cleaner than what I originally anticipated. Of course the easy parts to get to you can just wipe off easily anyway as the part is coated and all, but I just thought that piece would get dirty a lot quicker than what it does.
Thanks for the kind words and once we get your 2nd order of parts out I will shoot you over your tracking info and photos. Let me know anytime if you are going to want these current parts expedited or not, but either way they are on the "normal" schedule for now which goes by the arrival date of the parts.
Maybe next we can move onto your other car, so you can get that out to a couple shows as well.
