If memory serves me correct, you are running focal 165w's mounted in the door. Why did you mount them in the door instead of building kicks? I plan on running these same speakers, but im not sure were to mount them. I was originaly gonna put them in kicks, but i was thinking there would be no leg room what so ever. How do you like them in the door? Did you have to fabricate a spacer to make them fit?

I have the 165W's in the front doors on a custom made plate. The entire door is sound dampend and sounds OK.

I would rather have the mid bass in the kickpanels but due to time and the fact that I don't make much money installing equipment in my own car, I have decided that customer's car's are a priority over my own. I have done kickpanels in much more difficult cars than a Supra. (Jaguars,BMW,ect ect) but will one day do the kick panel install.

If you have the means then by all means put em' in the kickpanels. Imaging is gonna be much better.

Do you feel that there is adequate enough space down there to put them in some kicks with out blocking out the sound with your legs. What i mean is there isnt to much room so you legs take up much of that space. So it appears that is.
