Just curious if my friend got a good deal. He just picked up a used German police Sig P225 P6 for $350 w/ Holster, Mag Holster, 2 Mags, and a case, what do you all think?

Good day today! Got a billet receiver at MSRP (Sun Devil for $169) and a Lewis Machine upper was on consignment at the same store for $400! Needles to say I didn't bother haggling and now have the makings of a fine rifle for less than $600![]()
You want an actual BB gun? Mind me asking what for?
I don't know if I've ever seen a BB gun that wasn't really a toy.
Day got even better, just closed a deal for 3 lowers, built with RRA LPKs and no stocks for $636 shipped. Not everyone is trying to screw us. This was a dealer too.
so I know you guys like your gun pr0n, so I'm going to go ahead and give that up straight outta the gate. I'm even gonna throw some poussy in there for you guys because this thread delivers and thanks to that, I was a fairly informed buyer when I made this impulse buy a few weeks ago. Can you tell what it was (where's Waldo) ?
oops, I didn't hide him very well did I? Mr. Modern kind of stands out against the backdrop of my clearly old school guns.
Yeah I bought my first AR. It's an S&W MP 15. I know I could have built one myself for a little less and probably should have, but I figured for the first one I'd go for a reasonably priced factory rifle with no frills. Shoot a bunch of rounds and see how I like it and then decide what I might want to change.
Anyway, I was at the gun store a few weeks ago buying over priced ammo for my 30-30 and noticed they had a rack of ARs and a beam of sunshine was shining directly on them. I had looked at these casually last year and liked them but wasn't there for that purpose that day.
On this day though I was surprised because they'd been either out or had unappealing inventory (like everyone else) for a while. I was a little surprised and the sales guy said yeah "we just got these in yesterday and they're going fast" (damn salesmen). I asked to see this one and the 15T which they also had but I chose the standard model. I'm liking it a lot and have been having fun breaking it down and getting to know it. I was glad to see they weren't gouging on price too.
He told me they also had American Eagle XM193 for 37.99/100. That sounded great to me because it's 1/3 the price of 30-30 rounds. I justified the AR purchase on the spot. I bought several hundred rounds of those too. The rifle came with two standard mags but extra mags were too expensive there at $20, so I'll have to wait for pmag supplies to catch up to us damned Obamafied impulse buyers (sorry we did that to you old timer AR guys) .
The sales guy was really cool about the sale too because he said he'd throw in a top of the line automatic gun cleaning kittah for FREE! He said that alone was a $450 option! Can you believe that? It works great too.
How could I say no?
They awake from soothing dreams,
Into the worst nightmare.
Fire sweeps their homes,
They feel the dragon's breath.
Consuming and destructive flames,
Agonizing death.
Some seek shelter in the church,
A refuge for those with faith,
But we know how to smoke them out,
A pyre will be raised.
But those who choose to stand and fight,
Will die with dignity.
For the unfortunate few who survived,
Waits a life in slavery.
Chris, I know you want BB, but have you looked at a Gamo Big Cat 1200. I was looking into a non C02 pellet rifle myself. A friend's father picked one up for $129. Gander had them on sale for $99. 1200 fps with their PBA ammo, 1000 fps with lead. Break barrel single cocking pellet gun. Comes with scope.
He uses it to keep the squirrels out of his garden - 14 this past summer.

.177 cal
Very light at around 8-9 pounds compared to the other match rifles.
Literally if you breathe, the rifle will go off.The 5-way adjustable trigger is considered one of the finest in the world. The dual-range trigger-pull weight adjusts from 30 to 90 grams (1.05 oz - 3.17 oz ) and from 60 to 150 grams(2.11 oz - 5.29 oz). You can adjust virtually every part of the trigger, including pull-off point, initial travel, finger length, lateral position and trigger slack weight. Best of all, adjustments can be made quickly and easily without any tools and can even be made in the middle of a match!
Price is about $2400 new
Everyone -- Thanks for the tips so far! I will need something with a wood stock to make it palatable to the gun-haters who come over.
Jeremy - Right now I have a few ideas re: squirrels... etc. We'll see.
Walmart had a whole pallet of "Red Riders" last week when I was there. $49.95![]()

Don't get a red Ryder. It is a piece of shit. Why do pi want BBs and not pellets? There are a couple BB guns that are decent at wal mart. Get the multiple pump one, that you load by bringing the lever back. Not sure of the name. It isn't wood, but I personally haven't seen a wood BB gun.
Ok, so the gf and I took a basic handgun class, and she is getting ready to buy one. We tried quite a few, and she likes the sig 239, I think that's what it is, the one with a rounded trigger and it comes in 9mm. She isn't comfortable with a double stack, and CA laws neuter them anyway. Any other good small single stacks to look into, or thin framed guns? She doesn't want or need a subcompact though.
Holy shit! Feinwerkbau's are nuts. I would love to have one of those or an Annie to shoot field competitions with (if there was such a thing local to me....).
Who do you shoot for? I sooooooo wish I would have worked more get on UK's rifle team. I didn't even know they had one until I was about to transfer, and they were all about walk-ons.
Chris, if you are wanting to dispatch the neighbors pets ("squirrels"), I dunno if a BB gun is what you want. I'd step up to a .22 pellet rifle, break barrel. My dad has an RWS 48 that's killed all kinds of shit, and I've got a Gamo .177 Shadow thats alright. I wish I would have gotten a RWS, and a .22. The bigger pellets put shit down with much more authority.
Pyramid Air is where I bought mine, and they seem to have quite the selection.
Kahr P/K/E/T 9. I gave one to my mom (well, she bought it for my birthday and kinda indian-gave it back to herself) and another to my sister who lives in da 'hood while she's at school. It's still my favorite carry gun, and they are big enough to be enjoyable at a range. Girls tend to like them.
