Thanks! Been wanting to get this combo for about 2 years now. Definitely should've done it faster, but no regrets. With a UTL on it I'm going to love it more.

How much is a .45 USP Tactical? The cheapest you could find.

9mm's suppressed are quieter than .45's suppressed, assuming both are shot using subsonic rounds. Do not worry - a KAC USP-T .45 suppressor will be next on the list, along with a H&K in .45. Price-wise our local stealer has them(threaded H&K 45's) for like $1,349. Way too expensive. Best bet would be an online dealer.

Actually, he has nothing to do with being able to own that

If you want a fun semi auto shoty, look into a converted Saiga 12. I should have never sold mine... they're bringing STUPID fucking prices now

well i finally have good news and bad news. i went to go do my paper work for my KD AR lower but didn't have the proper paperwork to get it started. so i paid for it but have to go back with proof of residence, which sucks because i just moved 2 months ago and everything still has my old address. does anyone know if dmv can give me something that can work? this is CA if it matters (which it probably does).
    thanks.

Agreed! Never been too impressed with the larger 40 and 45 caliber hand gun suppressors. All the 40 caliber suppressors I have ever heard you need hearing protection still to shoot comfortably. 45 ACP suppressors aren't that bad, but the quiet ones I have heard were pretty heavy.

You can go to the DMV and get a change of address. Its a little green card, and that should do the trick.

What store did you end up going to? For future reference, your DROS form address can be different from the one on your DL. The DROS address just needs to match your proof of residency. Though, make sure with the shop that they are cool with it, as some get really paranoid about things like that.

hey man, i went to JK supply and ryan over there hooked me up. i changed my address on line but have to proof of it. do i just go there and tell them i need some type of proof and ask them about that card?

anyway, ryan was a real cool guy, and gave me alot of good info. i went to the gun room after that, just to check the place out and see what they had in a 870 tac, but they wouldn't even give me the time of day so i left.

My card was a little tan card, but yeah, don't monkey around with proof of address. Just go straight to the DMV and get it changed in the system.

No, the weird thing is, you need NO proof for the DMV card, which can then be used as proof to buy a gun. We live in a strange/stupid state.

JK is a good place, glad you got good service. Gun room is a hit or miss, and slightly expensive, but Wild Bills has good prices, and is 2 blocks from the gun room.

What does everyone think about DPMS? I'm looking at a DPMS Panther AP4 Carbine... Think I'm going to get it tommorrow. After doing a little research I found out you cant buy one from their website. (only law enforcment). So I'm not sure how Im able to buy it exept maybe cause they know I'm in the military but that still shouldnt matter. IDK but their willing to sell and I'm thinking about buying it.

You hold a Spectre .22lr can yet? Heavy, and built like a tank for a rimfire can. Can't wait to see how heavy a KAC USP-T is.

Im having to decide amongst the 308 LR or AP4 I like the 308 comes with a bulll barrel and its a 308! It cost a bit extra but for some reason I find myself lured to the AP4 It has the 14.5 inch barrel six pos. collapsable stock and you cant buy it just anywhere (that im aware of) But im not a big fan of .223.

I had not really ever looked into DPMS before so I was unsure of there products but you and others have all said it is a good company, thanks for your opinion!

What do you plan on doing with it? I ask because it costs a fuck load more to shoot a .308 than .223 these days (though .223 isnt cheap either ) if your just poking holes in paper out to 600yds or so.

I'm not a fan. Their bolt carrier groups are crap, and the overall quality seems to be so-so. I would rather spend equal money on RRA, Stag, Bushmaster, Anvil Arms, Cavalry Arms, or Charles Daly.

Not yet. I have seen a shitload of Prodigy cans though. Pretty much any of the 22lr cans I have heard are very quiet with sub-sonic rounds. After seeing what a 22LR can do to a suppressor, a take apart can is a must for just about any suppressed rim fire

Any of you C3 guys played with the new AAC Element yet, or heard anything about it?

I want a 22 suppressor reaaaallll bad, but everytime I'm ready to get one I end up spending the money on something else.

Very few people have. 0 end users have any of the production Elements. Supposedly it's pretty hot shit - despite the fact it resembles a mini pipebomb.

I'm sure an Element will be in my safe soon. Ordering a SCAR-H SD Monday or sometime this week, first, though.

I really wish my stupid fucking state would change their NFA laws. I can live happily without machine guns (MN does C&R mg's only), I CAN do SBR's (Thankfully, since I've been smitten with the looks and fun factor of 7.5" and 10.5" + KX3 guns)

But damnit if MN doesn't allow suppressors, the one NFA item that has an actual practical use. And the one NFA item that I want more than all others combined.

I need to move, though it could be worse I guess (poor IL, NY, CA guys)...

^ I'm in the same boat here in DE. Our gun laws aren't all that bad, but the no NFA items thing really sucks.

You guys see AAC's promotion going on the past week or so? $1,000 credit for any silencer they sell if you get an AAC logo tattoo(picture only, no words). Ends tonight at midnight. They're pulling the promotion early after giving away over $200,000 worth of silencers in a week.

I might be fucking retarted, but that $150 7.62 SCAR-H SD suppressor is going to be nice. I'm one of over 200 fucktards, apparently. Branded for life! Probably going back for some more(meaningful) tattoo's next week or so.
