Serious ? - This could mean I need to disassemble it again:

Why is it doing this then? Everything was assembled back to factory specs. (believe me on this)

Needle marks are where they need to be. I have three clusters disassembled right now and they all do this?

Do you mean that yours doesn't do this because you've never disassembled them?

Once I get some free time, I'll do write ups about how I did stuff and where I got the parts and post them on my site Supraholics.com

    UP NEXT:

I wanna see if I get time to go and drop off my brake and fuel lines. The shop who is doing my brake and fuel lines in Stainless Steel are 4 hours away on way and they have to scan the original in order to bend the SS lines.

All brake lines are going to be stock size, fuel is gonna be 1/2 inch.

Once I get all the bolts, I'll drop the car on the ground, clean it up and take pics, especially to showcase the AWESOME looking Carbon Fiber winshield cowl I got from Raptor Racing.

I got an electrical engineer finish my circuit for the push start button and it will also include a turbo timer in it, which can be changed to different time intervals.

Once the outside is done, then comes the engine. Here are my plans so far. PLEASE TECHNICAL EXPERIENCED PEOPLE LET ME KNOW IF IT WOULDN'T WORK.

I will do a 2.5JZ dry sump, with MoTec and ITBs.

    What's a 2.5JZ??? Is a 1JZ block with 2JZ head.

I'm looking to have this kind of response:
    http://jstylecars.com/?p=232

I'm estimating around $30K - $40K on the engine, so is gonna take me a while to finish, since I don't finance my fun. In the mean time, I'll build a stock 7M for the car. I promise is not gonna be a normal 7M though, the entire engine will be powder coated and ceramic coated. The finish will match the rest of the car. I'm not putting anything in there that's not following the same kind of "attention to detail" thinking policy I've followed for the rest of the car.

Also, and I'm not sure if I should say this now, BUT, I've been working with John from CCW and they are making me a 5 spoke wheel similar to the Kinesis K59R. They are currently very busy since they have unfinished orders and are moving to a new location, but he said sometime in the summer. We'll see how things turn out...

I wanted to have the car done by 2008, BUT life is life and I have to take care of my home and my family. They always come first so, I'm not in a hurry. I'll continue to drop money into this car until is done the way I want it.

I still have the Lexus IS, the Corolla GTS, the Cressida Turbo, and the bike to keep me entertained :biglaugh: and now I also have this to keep me happy http://www.lehighvalleygrandprix.com/

    UPDATE:

First a quick shot of the Carbon Fiber windshield cowl. PLEASE excuse all the dust. The picture really doesn't do this piece any justice. I'll take better ones once I get the suspension reassembled and the car on the ground.

    Old Hub spindle:

Still old but not as old Hub Spindle: After math of sandblasting.

The better than new Hub Spindle: All coated with POR-15. Now if you know me, then you know these are not completely done...gotta take care of the details

Trac arm, rear tie rods, etc, all coated with POR-15. This stuff is AWESOME, expensive but AWESOME. The pic doesn't do justice either. I'll take better pics in the sun so you can really see the details. This stuff dries to an incredible rock-hard, non-porous finish that won't chip, crack, or peel.

God willing, this Thursday I'll be traveling 4 hours one way to get my custom SS fuel and brake lines made I can't wait... They will fit on the stock location and will be bent to stock specs, except for a couple of bends like the fuel tank breather, clutch, and the fuel feed will be 1/2"

Not a whole lot to update. I've been trying to finish my Cressida turbo. Installing an intercooler right now.

    Cars is coming along good.

I thought I had stated this here as well, but it looks like I didn't. Anyways... I'm having all the lines on the car (Clutch, Fuel, PS, ABS, etc) redone on Stainless Steel. The fuel feed will be AN-08. They will all fit the stock location and will be polished to look like chrome.

I drove 700 miles two-way to drop them off 2 weeks ago. They have a 6 week lead time, so I got a few more weeks to go. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

After seeing your supra I'd concider going black. If you don't mind me asking how much did that paint job cost and where was it done...some of the best paint I've ever seen.

After a few months of no activity, I decided to wash my car, even though I said I wouldn't until it was done... No wax or anything yet, just water to take the dust off it...

I also finished installing the Stainless Steel fuel and brake lines. Pics coming up. The rear subframe and diff are in.

After a few months of waiting (hurracaine IKE) I got my suspension bolts, but I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping they were all going to match in color. They don't! Some are zinc coded, others are not, and some parts are anodized black, which is really cool...

Here are the new bolts (left) and the old bolts (right)

Here you can see the anodized alignment washers. Would be HOT if they all matched.

Sorry I don't have anymore pics, I was busy putting stuff together. I'll have pictures soon. I'm pretty confident that I'll have the car on the ground pretty soon...

It should be on the ground soon, I don't know that it will ever be completely finished. Always something new to add

Actually, they both are, I just bounce the ball back and forth as needed. When money is an issue, give it time...when time is an issue, throw some money on it

Geezzz... I would like to see how his comes out though...

Here are pictures of the fuel/Brakes/ABS/PS/Clutch lines... I noticed I never posted them on here...

They were all double flared (thanks IJ for the quick reply when I was asking for help), and the fuel feed line is 1/2 inch (good for ~1000WHP). The clutch line is braided SS.

All lines were redone (Brakes, ABS, Clutch, Fuel, Power Steering). Lines and fittings are SS.

    Here's an update.

I received today my first of several shipments from Beech Performance Motorsports.

I just wanted to take a moment a post a few images of Wes' products and at the same time give props to Wes... Great guy to work with, the parts are amazing! Believe me when I say the pictures don't do his parts justice... most of you know how picky I am, and is pretty rare for me to come out and rate parts, but these parts deserve it, Wes deserves it!

Most of these parts will be polished or powder coated later. You can click on the images to see a larger image.

    Have fun!

    Thanks, I can't wait either.

    update...

I've talked to several trim companies/distributors with no luck. After searching around so much and not finding exactly what I wanted (sorry, I'm picky. What can I do?), I decided to have my molding strip custom made out of aluminum. I won't be using my chrome strips.

This I find is actually better. I'll be able to anodize them, coat or paint them to match the color of my wheels exactly.

The process is already in the works and I should have pictures soon.

Sorry dude. Stroke is not the determining factor of revability.

    MASS is the final say.

As for seeing one. Not all of us post our goodies for the world to see

Do you have any way of contacting raptor racing? I'm interested in the carbon fiber cowl but their website is down.

If you don't think stroke is one of the major factors, you're talking out of your ass. Go look up piston speed then come back.

Again, show me one... It would cost a shit load of money to do it with a 91mm and won't rev as fast as a shorter stroke - 80s and below - and DEFINITELY not as high.

I think you're both right but talk about revs (they are always over-square btw, ours are close to square 83x91, 2JZ is 86x86), check this vid ou2

The strips are all done (building them anyways). Sorry for the crappy pics... Next I ship a little piece to the "powder people" to see if they can get it done without warping the strips. If they warp, they'll get painted.

Some pieces had to be done a few times...part of that getting it perfect thing I'm cursed with - All the bends are in. That was the hard part being that these are aluminum and not rubber

I polished a little piece just to see what it would look like. Just a quick polish...

    Next is the engine...
