I would like to see some TWS track times added since this track will be TX2K8.

You are right that more data would be good. However power is pretty much implied. Tires are included (if not sizes). Weight is a good idea. Got some times to share?

ha. ok. so you included half of what I thought already. great minds think alike.

Curtis may give you more accurate times, but here is what I remember:
Buttonwillow 13 CW 2:01.5, Neova Street tires
Laguna Seca 1:42.3, Neova Street tires

    Cali Speedway infield - 1:17

Car weighs 3250 plus driver, 440 whp.

My old car did low 1:58s on Pilot Sport Cups at Buttonwillow 13 CW. 550hp, I forget the weight, i believe it is listed on Steve's page.

2:06 at Thunder Hill over the top is a really good time. I wish there were more Supras on the road course.

Do these need to be official transponder times or can they be DE times from tapes?

I recall Andi running TWS in just under 2:00, just for reference for everyone who is going out there. apparently Jeff W could drop a few seconds off of that.

I will accept times from tapes as well as seems appropriate (if the poster is no one I have heard of I will be more dubious).

Heresay times will not be posted.

My fastest time at TWS in the Supra was 2:00. I did do a 1:58 in my '04 Z06, stock on stock tires.

BTW, you should change your listing for Motorsport Ranch to say Motorsport Ranch Houston. The original Motorsport Ranch is in Fort Worth.

Fixed. Are those power and weight stats correct for all of your entries, Curtis?

I turned three 1:53.9s at TWS thursday. I had my track set up man, George Marsanick, with me running the clock, taking tire temperatures and pressures, so I cannot produce an official tape. They were not running the track transponder so i was not able to record it. May be a clean (no traffic) track would have allowed better times but may be not.

I would have gotten third in the time attack as Andi would have beat me with a 1:53.6.

do forza 2 times count? lol.

in all seriousness will you take stopwatch times from de events if someone else on the forum or another reputable person verifies? just curious, cuz if i catch some members at DE events id be happy to time if i dont have my traqmate.
"That's pretty much the MKIV Technical Forum's answer to everything. Boost Leak from vacuum hoses? Go single. Car leans to one side? New coilovers. Car feels loose in corners? Full roll cage. Stuttering at 5400 in cold? Go AEM. AEM ran fine for months, now stalls? Go Motec. Dusty engine bay? Chrome everything. Fender bender? Widebody. Worn clutch? Use whatever Woon uses. Fuck now? $14,000 wheels." - troux

Feel free to submit times. It really depends on the member and who can vouch for them. Video times are encouraged. Stopwatch times are of course discouraged.

Well I went back to Barber Motorsports over Memorial Day weekend. I only taped one session and only had one fairly clean lap - it was a 1:49.

Then my alternator went out for the third event in a row.
    Sat out the second day........

Wow Ivan... That sure kicks the crap out of my 2:03.7s @ TWS.... it must be the wing....

I think I could of gotten a better time, but I blew my motor.
